Love Love Show! worse H-Game

Well I just have to say I think Love Love Show is the worst game ever! Friend loaned it to me and I am sure glad I didn’t waste my money on this one. One word for it… BORING!

Maybe, you haven’t played the “original japanese” game, but only the ittsy-bittsy-english-translated-puzzle-part? Of cause, that one alone was disappointing indeed.

I found the original japanese game (not just a japanese version of the puzzles, but an adult-bishoujo-five-in-a-row) quite challenging, particularly, figuring out how the special work (some documentation would have been really helpful) and how to breed them in order to beat the final opponents with them (that’s necessary, because the opponents are really getting stronger in tactics and using the specials themselves).

Well, Love Love Show is more worth it for the “original game”. But like you say, if you’re not into arcade style games, then it also won’t appeal to you. It could be worst. The Viper Limited Edition “game” portion was very “limited”.

The untranslated might been more interesting if I could of read it. What is with selling an english version game that isn’t translated where it counts? And the card game… what a joke thier was no point in it after about the 8th win it’s impossible to win because you lose a turn even when you make a successful match. Very stupid that one was… Hope we don’t see more of these stupid type of releases because if this is what people see for their first game they would never look back at the Bishoujo market to see the good games that are out there. I just curious why are the better games the old dos ones for playability and the newer window versions are so literally path oriented that they soon tire. Just a few exceptions that I have seen for this like like True Love and May Club the only games so far that I actually played more than once

Yeah the 5-in-a-row game is pretty challenging. I actually finished the card game and all it gives you is access to the pictures to all the girls. I couldn’t figure out what you suppose to do with the special game since i finished the puzzle but it doesn’t do anything. Oh well it was pretty cheap and the origional game is kinda cool need to beat the last character now.

Yeah the 5-in-a-row part is great. At first I thought the uncensored and original games were the same but they are not.

That threw me off at first as well. But I'm happy I started with the original game first. If I had started with the uncensored one first, I probably would have been very disappointed.

I have respect for you that actually beat anyone in the 5 in a row… That is the hardest game I have ever played… Made it majorly no fun to me… I couldn’t even beat the first one more than once… and being that you have to beat them twice made it that much worse. I like puzzle games but this isn’t what I call a puzzle game. I call this a too friggen hard game to be fun. Oh well… I sure hope they don’t release more crappy games like this… I’m sure their has to be some fun puzzle games and not ones that are so hard that it isn’t fun… Besides I never was a fan of Connect 4 and it’s just a revised version of that long dead game.

First of all: It's sad, you couldn't enjoy this game at all.

But you are completely wrong about the "revised revision". The specials break more rules, than the original connect 4 had.
You have to take into account in your strategy, the opponent could use his specials too, or you are bound to lose.

Love show the worst H game ?

... or "Viper limited"!
I've never before seen a shoot-em-up, that does not support a game-controller...
(and I think, I have seen plenty of shoot-em-ups before)

Part of the strange thing about the AI for Love Love Show, as Slayer has noted and I have remarked in my review, is that it invariably chooses one particular placement that is entirely contingent upon where you placed yours. I found this baffling at first but after a while I realized that there’s no ‘dice’ to randomize the AI’s choice. It usually chooses the best action, and that best action in puzzle games is usually one. (note I say usually, because sometimes the choice is bad because once the AI spends all its specials, it has no choice but to make forced choices) Just because the game is hard doesn’t mean it is terrible. It reminds of a Twilight Zone episode in which a gangster dies and thought he went to heaven, because he was in this casino and he won all the time, he never lost, even when he purposely tried to throw the game; only then did he realize, that he went to hell. The challenge of the game is the possibility that you could lose, that’s what makes it fun.

To tell you the truth, I still consider Viper LE as more of an attempt to introduce the Viper series to more of the Western market than a serious attempt at a game.

It was an ok game nothing great but it passed the time between CP and Chain It takes a little while but once you get a pattern for the opponent you can pretty much beat her. Too bad the pattern changes for each opponent…come to think of it it’s actually a good thing or it’d get boring fast.
