Nani ...

Konnichiwa!

I’m new here and wanted to say hi. I just ordered Snow Drop… which I thought was a good point to start getting into bishoujo games, me living in Switzerland, and being keen on skiing  and of course romantic love stories.

Naoki

Well, welcome to the group.

I personally think you’ve made a good choice, I really think Snow Drop is an excellent game and enjoyed it alot. So, enjoy the game, and again, welcome to the group!

hey… and I even think I know the story of the snow lady… Isn’t that the one which can be seen on the DVD “Kwaidan” … the 4 movies are based on stories by Lafcadio Hearn, and there is one story of a lady and a lot of snow … $

Yeah… I like chasing snow bunnies… especially if they’re Japanese bunnies with squeaky voices

Yup, it’s pretty much based on the same story in Kwaidan. It’s a rather older movie and even older book! Still pretty good though.

So that’s what I did wrong when I went skiing last time! I concentrated on skiing rather than snow bunnies, no wonder I ended up in the hospital…

Hajimemashite, Suisujin-san!

Welcome to the forum (heh, it was only a couple months back that people were saying that to me, seems like I’ve been here ages ^_^). Snow Drop’s a really great game, was the first game I bought from Pea Pri too, enjoyed it very much though I still haven’t managed to see all of the endings yet.

Hajimemashitte Suisujin-san,ikaga desu ka ? Welcome to the BBS, I hope you find our opinions enlightening about the exciting game genre known as “Bishoujo” . Snow Drop huh, I would say you had a very good choice for a game . It’s a very heart warming game that can make you cry from frustration and joy, you’ll know what I’m talking when you start playing it . Squeaky voices ???

Hello, and welcome to the forum! like everyone else here, I do hope that you’ll enjoy your time here, as well as the pretty girls .

But… Hey, Kumi-chan, no fair! Switzerland isn’t the only country that goes “hand in hand” with Snow Drop! Sweden has a fair amount of snow and skiing resorts too! (France too, I think… and certainly Norway)

I wonder how long it will take for the game to arrive here… I can’t wait after all you said

Heh, while that is certainly true, I think that most of the people here are here at Peach Princess because they want to be able to enjoy these games [b]without having to devote years of their lives to intense Japanese studies first.

Although it's true that, once exposed to bishoujo games, the insatiable desire for more can have a major impact on one's priorities.

Still not fair! Heck, the Swiss Alpes is shared with France after all!

how true... *shudders*. When the Limited Collectors Edition of Critical Point's out, I'm going to buy it together with Snow Drop and maybe something more... that will create a BIG hole in my bank account . but then, again, the pretty girl's always worth it . *sigh* Still, I wish that all bishoujo games at the Japanese market were aviable in english, too, since there's so many games I want to play... No kidding, I do seem to have a hole in my wallet and I’m starting to think that the other end of the hole is connected to PeaPri!

Actually, I just played another game, “Gakuen Z” that I thought was straightforward enough for me to catch the drift of it without understanding the dialogue. Now I’m considering buying a few more of the games in Japanese. (And I think I just heard my wallet wimper… )

Hey Suisujin, now that almost all members of the forum spoke a bit Japanese: boku wa Berugijin desu but really, good to see you here. Yeah, SD is pretty nice, I especially liked the graphics

What’s “Berugijin”? I’m trying to learn Japanese, but it’s going a bit slowly at the moment. Also, did anyone create a thread for Japanese language discussion around here yet?

That’s “Belgian.”

Hi Naoki! Well actually you’ve been here a few days longer than me, but hello nonetheless. Snow Drop is fantastic, even if you’ve never been off the east coast of the USA, let alone where any MOUNTAINS may be. Bleh…

My wallet has a standing order to be empty regardless of PeaPri. I’m a college freshman, which seems to relate to being very very broke. Theoretically I have a job working as a Japanese tutor for the University’s Department of Modern Languages, but I’m not getting any customers.

But my wallet is no more immune to Peach Princess’ charms. Then again, whose is?

watashi wa nihongo-o benkyou-shimashita, but that’s a while ago…so I got a little rusty… and with phrases like “kore kaban wa ikura desu ka” straight out of the book, you won’t get far in Tokyo

Anyway… I’m looking forward to playing my first bishoujo game…

Hmm odd. When I say the sentences out loud, then they make sense to me but when I read the romanized Japanese straight, I’m lost. Then again, I should probably stop because my co-workers are probably starting to wonder who I’m talking Japanese to in my cubicle.

Will if you really like to play the Japanese game with japanese language you can visit at http://www.himeya.com they have the lot of Japanese Bishojo games.

Maybe we should do like Piro in MegaTokyo’s webcomic . He always ask to be paid in merchandise or other anime-related things instead of money (well, lately, after a little talk with Seraphim, he takes out his pay as: 75& merchandise and 25% money).
