Hello.
I remember a post where the LHZ/LHA compression/decompression program was mentioned. Can someone post it again for me? I need it for some files I am trying to open.

I feel a little embarassed for asking this but what exactly is LHA?
The Japanese typically do not use WinZip to compress files.
They use a old form of compression program known as LHA with a extension of .LHZ after compression which is compatiable with WinZip.
LHA is a program that allows you to decompress .LHZ files. It’s similiar to .ZIP, .ACE, RAR files but just different format along with some other difference which I wont go over. Usually Japanese patches, udpates and whatnot may be encoded in that format (ie Susie SPI files).
On a different note…whatever happened to the ARJ format? Used to use that in the days back when I used AOL =fi
Thanx everyone!
