Actually, one of the oddest things I've been doing recently is when I watch various anime series, I'll stop and think about if this would be the kind of series I'd like to show my kids in the unfortunate (for the kids) event I ever have any. I can't tell if that's because I'm maturing or because I'm slowly going insane...

Heh, well I need to do some catching up on my other titles first. Like I mentioned in the other thread, picked up Strawberry Eggs Vol. 2, and I also picked up Real Bout H.S. Vol.3 at the same time. (Was it just me or was that Nanbara in one scene?) And several other DVD's I got from Ebay just got in today like Those Who Hunt Elves (both volumes), Metal Fighter Miku (Seen it before but no harm going through it again.) and a half-dozen Anime 18 and Nu-Tech ones. *blinks* Okay, I so need to get a life... I know this dumb question will bring this conversation back to the original idea but… For sure they will be BS and xc2 will be released next year or thats just a pending guess… (im asking so i know if i can max up my credit card i put this pre-order on and still pay it off next year). cuz thats 100$ pending…

Umm...dude, forgive me for interjecting my totally unsolicited opinion...but if you're truly that tight on the finances then you should NOT buy the games.
im not… but christmas is coming up… and when i originally planned it these games were said to be scheduled for 2002…
and when i say im not i mean i have no debt… credit all paid off… the cash i make is what i got, so dont read to far into what i said… im just planning for x-mas.

I would guess that they are more than likely set for next year. One, because I can't think of many instances where games (translated or otherwise) actually came out ahead of projections. (They do have the most annoying habit of being delayed.) And two, I can't think of a reason why PeaPri would give a projection of next year if they thought they could get either of them out in time for the Christmas season. (One of those marketing theorey things my friend tried to explain to me once.)
