If it's worth anything I've used that page to report illegal auctions several times, all to no avail.

the origional point of this thread was to shut down a specific auction by the combined reports of all of us
and we did suceed, maybe we can do it again if we repeat this process

They did shut down that auction btw. Also I have had numerous auctions shutdown in the past just by reporting them. If numerous people report the auction and Peach Princess/ Jast also take the time to report there is a good chance that the auction will get closed. Also I believe sellers only get 3 marks (maybe 5) on their record before ebay closes their account for selling illegal copies. While you might think this wouldn’t do anything they can just recreate a account, when their account gets shutdown they lose their feedback ratings, which can take awhile to build back up. Also anyone selling with a low feedback rating can expect 15-25% lower sale price (trust me on this) ESPECIALLY if they are selling questionable material…
I like the idea of getting a group of people together to report bad auctions, I always keep my eyes open on ebay and try to report everything I can.
Don’t you have to give your credit card to sign up for Ebay? I mean, surely these people can be banned by this if they lose their account so that they can be prevented from creating a new account.

There's ways around this. I won't go into them since I don't particularly like going over how to do illegal things, especially in public forums but it's possible.

Do you know the walkthough for Viper RSR? I have only seen one path. The pictures on the box tell me that it is at least one other path.

gah, the viper auction went through with a buy it now option…that was quick…
although, maybe people are getting a little nervous now with so many pirate auctions getting shut down that they’re rushing to get the stuff before it’s shut down
We won’t catch them all, but hopefully what we do will help in some small way.
I have reported all 4, you can still report the auction that has ended. Even though Ebay can’t stop the auction now the seller can still recieve the black mark on his record for selling illegal software.

I reported them as well. From what ebay said to my request it seems that once it is reported they investigate, but don’t keep count as to how many report them. At any rate, they are reported. I included a message that was rather firey (against the sellers, not ebay). I hope it helps.

It's still good to have multiple reports in. Not exactly sure how they do their investigates, it could be they flag an auction for investigation or they investigate based on each individual report. Especially in the later, it increases the chance that the investigation will be done sooner than later.
Notice a new account has been posting quite a few auctions recently. The name is “hgame” it has sunglasses so it was created in the last 30days. Maybe we got someone’s account closed . Well I have been reporting all of his auctions he has 5-6 illegal auctions going already . I hate ppl like that.
