As for a mascot I still think the CG's from the games sold by PP are the best mascot or image.

I don't think a Mascot is needed but I am sure that PP has the people around to draw and create one. I would rather have the people translating games than keeping up some loli or sexy image for advertising.
Yet would such an image bring more people to the site to buy more games to help them make a larger profit? You know what they say, image is everything, and while I don’t agree with that it does often get people in the door.
Though I agree if there was a choice between one or the other, it is better to have the focus on the games and translating.
