Strange… It was released with almost no hype surrounding it. You should be able to get a copy at your local Suncoast. It’s compatible with a PS2
It’s out already? Hrm…
Too bad I hate the local suncoasts. ^^;
It’s out? Hmm, wonder if Peach Princess will offer to sell some copies of it then, since it could be a good start on a “non-adult bishoujo games” section.

Well normally I don't go there except they've been selling off their Pioneer anime real cheap recently. (At least the local store has.) Picked up all of El Hazard and almost all of the sequel stuff, plus some odds and ends here and there. (And even a couple of non-Pioneer anime they apparantly just want to get rid of.) With so many places switching from VHS to DVD, it's becoming easier to grab some stuff for relatively cheap prices. (And really nice for me since I don't have a DVD player, I'm pretty much forced to buy VHS anyways! )
Are there any other retail chains or online retailers that carry this game? I’d love to get it but I am nowhere close to a Suncoast right now, in Taiwan currently. And what others said, I don’t like Suncoast.

BTW does anybody know if there are non-pirated copies of "Super Catgirl Nuku Nuku" and "Android Ana Maico 2010" out there? I have been checking the web but it seems 1998 was good year anime links and nobody has updated since.
ADV was supposedly updating their inventory to DVDs and Bannou Bunka Neko Musume was their title on the on-hold list. As for Maico 2010, I don't recall anybody licensing it for US release, so your best bet will be CD Japan & similars.
Incidentally, does anyone know if Communet still handle the US distribution, or does Hobibox Europe handle it?

No problem with that. This month was anime month, next month will be PP month for pre-orders. I tend to watch TV, and use the computer in the late fall,winter,and spring.
You have designated months?

PS:
Looking at the ADV site I decided to order the Cat Girl Video tapes. If the prices are correct they are $6.67 each. (I think sub-titled) but that is still a good deal.
Well even if the prices aren't correct, they pretty much have to sell them to you at that price right? Sigh, I'll get around to getting a DVD player one of these days...

Frighteningly enough, I heard that Best Buy accidentally listed a product as ubercheap on their website, and was then refusing to either honor the price or give refunds. They even prosecuted one person for fraud when he tried to claim it!

They really don't have a legal leg to stand on unless they can prove that the person specifically changed the price himself to get it at the reduced value. And if they refuse to honor posted prices, they can be sued for "false advertisement" (The "bait and switch" routine). Whether they'd win or lose would probably come down to who can afford the better lawyer though. Sometimes, I really hate how the American justice system works. Are there any other stor which sells Phantom of Inferno besides Suncoast?
So far only Suncoast has it. If you want to order it online try www.Suncoast.com
I don’t recommend using PDF forms. They scare me too.

This seems to happen often. I remember they listed the DC for a $1 (When it was still expensive), and then there was that whole
big screen tv fiasco. (Anybody here who visits Fark remember that? ^^)
Anyways, my will broke down and I'll probably pick up a copy of PoI this weekend. Pray for my soul. ^_-

Why? I mean, I'm pretty sure someone here will sell you a slightly used soul if you lose your original one.

Another one? Those things keep turning up. Must be a problem in manufacturing or something.
For European people, I emailed Hobibox about the possibility of ordering “Phantom of Inferno” directly from them (i.e. not from US distro.) Here’s the mail:
Q: I’d like to buy your “Phantom of Inferno” game, but, as I’m living in France, I’d rather order it directly from you than from a US distro. How can I proceed?
A: The european edition of Phatom of inferno is still in the works (the american edition is not very well translated in english and it doesn’t contain any hentai image) and we are working to make it a great DVD game!
Q: May I ask where there are informations about the European version? As in, what are the differences with the US version, which languages will be in it, etc.?
A: We will post an european info page in July when we will have end completed the european game. You will be able to buy this game from Tonkam (they will start to distribute our games in july).
I’m wondering if that means the European version will have the adult parts… ^^;;;
