Ports of Bishoujo games to Handhelds?

There were actually a surprising number of them ported to Gameboy Color, who’d thunk it? I was so excited about the Wonderswan port, I got the console just for only playing With You ~ Mitsumete Itai, but man the sound is bad, Neo Geo Pocket Color is way better than Wonderswan, who’s the genius who screwed this up? Neo Geo Pocket Color still the best option for Bishoujo games on the go:

Yes.Any cart will work with the GBA regardless of the country.Not very sure of GBA SP thought.

ya it works. I have a US GBASP and I can play both japanese and US games

Yes there is not region coding on the GBA so imports work fine on the GBA. SP is just the GBA with a new design and a backlight(bout freakin time too).

This is somewhat of a relevant discussion to the Bishoujo games on handhelds, but does anyone on this forum own a Neo Geo Pocket Color? I’m almost completing my collection of Bishoujo games on the Neo Geo Pocket Color, and am working now on the Wonderswan, but I’m always happy to look for multiple copies of the same game I have, so please email me if you have something to sell me.

Yeah, Super Real Mahjong kicks much ass. If we only saw one more year of this baby, there'd be a lot more gals mahjong coming out, according to the release list. I'm getting POcket Love IF soon so that completes my list of Bishoujo games for this Neo Geo Pocket Color.

I think there is also Dokyusei Mahjong for GBA, never played one for myself though.

Woot, I just got Pocket Love IF for the Neo Geo Pocket Color. The game is nice, it won’t win any awards, a little bit like True Love from Software House Parsley, but the girls are cute and the dialogues are cute. It works for the handheld system.

I heard about that Dokkyusei Mahjong for the Gameboy, I believe it’s also listed in Elf’s product lineup.
