Possible Future Acquisition(s)

Hi Everyone:

First and foremost, I wish the staff of Peach Princess successes in their commercial endeavors. Peach Princess is undoubtedly the most ambitious business enterprise I have even seen that is dedicated to introduce quality h-games to the English-speaking world. As an ardent anime fan, I have high expectation on both Tokimeki Check-in and Little My Maid.

I noticed Peach Princess has obtained the rights to bring additional titles to the Continental US. My question is whether or not Peach Princess has any intention to acquire h-game title that has SLG elements (The hugely successful Sega Saturn title Sakura Taisen and it’s sequels are what I have in mind). Since I belive there is a significant segment of the US population that like to play chess and watch anime (I am one of them), selling a x-rate version of Sakura Taisen might be commercially viable.

With all due respect, Sakura Taisen and its series ARE NOT h-games. As for coming up with an X-rated version, Sega will be up in arms–and, being a fan of the series myself, so would I.

Sakura Taisen 2 has recently been released in Japan as a Sega PC title, so it’s no longer a Saturn or Dreamcast exclusive.

Sakura Taisen is definitely not an h-game. And I, for one, like it that way. It is a great game with beautiful art and good game play.

What I am more interested in is whether Peach Princess can obtain and port it over for us?

There’s a possiblity of Sakura Taisen being translated into English. However, I can only see it being done for the video consoles and not for PC…

It’s almost like asking for English PC versions of Grandia and its sequel.

I don’t see a commericially released version of ST selling…at least not enough to cover the costs of making the game.

Kumiko, you're mixing your Star Trek metaphors across two series.
