So I decided to play this game again. Installed it. When I start it, the screen freezes and the game stops responding.
I am using windows Vista.
Help please.
Does the game display anything before it freezes? Please try uninstalling any third-party codecs you may have, such as DivX.
No it does not display anything. First the screen freezes and then the program stops responding.
I will try again with the 3rd party codecs uninstalled.
What are the recommended settings for Vista on the older games? I did a quick check and I experience same problem with Kana and Heart de Roommate 
, but Crescendo works fine :?
Nope, doesn’t work. Any other suggestions?
I got a new machine with Windows 7.
EDIT:
It somehow worked after a couple of tweaks. I installed it again in the x86 Program files folder and updated the audio and video drivers. Works nicely now. Leaving this post in case anyone has problem installing this, Kana or other old games. Thanks Makoto for your help
