I think that you’re thinking too much. Let’s Meow Meow, the game, is full of internal contradictions that I don’t think we need to bring into Project Sakura World. I mean, there aren’t any armaids here, are there? I haven’t seen any.

It’s the Year of the Tiger, and Yoshimi and Narumi are about to set off on an epic adventure that will test them as individuals and as a couple, as well as solve the mystery of the missing persons. I hope I can pull it off. I’m going to be busy the next couple of weeks, tho. So it might be awhile before you hear from me again.

Who are the missing persons? And sometimes I just can’t help but over think things.

Remember? When Yoshimi was working in the Missing Persons Bureau, no one in Moriyoh ever went missing, so she spent her days eating donuts and reading the newspaper. But the day after Etsuji recruited her for Homicide seventeen people disappeared in one night. Not counting Kokoro. It’s all in Police Procedures.

I do, indeed, think I might start “adapting” elements from the eroge I’ve played for my stories (well, I’ve been doing it all along, actually. Didn’t you catch that Ryo’s kid sister was Kana?). Right now, I’m playing Downhill Nights (and Raidy, of course). Do you remember that Kokoro’s car is missing as well as Kokoro? I may or may not do something with that. You’re welcome to try.

I probably won’t post for another week. I’m finishing up two runs for Mass Effect (no romances) for the release of ME2 and then a nice long marathon without sleep come Tuesday.

I missed the reference to the sister all together, so I just feel stupid on that alone.

I’ve beaten ME1 20 or so times, but always with a romance option… though from what I’m hearing, Bioware is basically giving a big “fuck you” to ME1 LI fans. I’ve seen some worrying streams of early copies and it does not look good.

I might be posting earlier in order to get the taste out of mouth of what is shaping up to be a disappointment.

I never could understand the chopping of heads only. I’d say you’d have to take the head and stab the heart. That’s just me though.

Well, I guess cutting off the head and stabbing the heart is thorough, but who has the time for that in the heat of battle.

Well, tomorrow is Setsubon, But it’s still New Year’s Eve for Yoshimi and Narumi, and will be for a while yet–if they survive. But I’m trying real hard to finish it up. I see that Valentine’s is coming , and I’d like to do something with Yuki for that. Poor girl, she doesn’t have any man in her life she can give her chocolate to, so I guess she’ll have to eat it herself.

Okay, a bit of time but here is the slowly ambling Ryo/Xallie saga. This last post was more exposition and less action of any sort. My next post had some things that I felt needed some build up/explanation so, yeah… Ryo got his own post! Of course the next post is going to be fun. Heh. I’ll leave it that, build some stress and tension. Don’t you love teases?

Anyway, my posts will probably be a bit slow in coming (a few weeks to a month in between each at times). I am currently working on a fan-fic for ME2, my novel and both Heavy Rain and Final Fantasy XIII are due in the next month or so. Even without a job my days are quite busy… good thing I was frugal and smart with my money.

Well, it took a long time to get Yoshimi and Narumi’s New Years Eve party out of the way, but now, with my Valentine’s post, I’m back on the clock.

I hope everyone here remembers my friend Nanjou from YMK. As nasty as she was, I’ve always regretted that there was never a path for her in that game (well, YMK squandered a lot of potential, I’m sure you’ll agree). She’s an interesting person to me; vicious and elitist, but essentially na√Øve. The kind of person who can easily fall under the sway of someone who is truly evil, such as Betsunade (aka: Kuchisake). Well, we’ll see what happens there.

By the by, Beast Dom, the mysterious leader of the Meow Meows, is named after my wife’s first cat. He and I never liked each other, and we were in constant competition to show who was the alpha male in the house. He’s dead now, but it amused me to bring him back as a villain. We may hear more of him.

Yuki’s pathetic fixation on Ryo was getting too much for even me to bear, so now I’m fixing her up with a new pathetic fixation. But as of this writing, I don’t know a thing about him. Could he actually be a prince from some other dimension or a legendary race car driver or the possessor of some horribly, horribly evil artifact?

Seriously though, don’t string the poor girl into another hopeless situation just to maker her miserable, that would just be so :twisted: . I would just have to have Chie save the day somehow or at least comfort the poor girl… :oops: .

(Nah, I’d let you torture the poor girl, but I would let my imagination take me to strange new places in my head. That I can’t help.)

For the record: I do not torture girls. In fact, my wife (who is also my editor) would come down hard on me if I ever really did. She’s what you call one of those "more sensitive viewers,"which constrains me from going too far. But, dig it, she really likes Heart, with all her introspective misery and guilt. I can only assume that that kind of pain is okay with women.

In any event, you may call it “writing,” but all I’m really doing is taking dictation. The characters are telling me their stories, and I have absolutely nothing to do with it, so I can’t be held responsible for the shit they get into.

Same here… though if violent angst and misery were to appear, I’d flex my writing muscle and oust it from Xallie’s life. Some melancholy is alright, but this is a light and hopeful story for her… if it wants to be or not!

At least your dictations are not like mine but as you said “they” tell you what to write.

Only ones I’d torture are my main characters if I was so inclined (I’m just a sadistic bastard) but then I’ve may of been already doing it.

I may post a post that is a birthday one, he (Brant) shares the same b-day as me (why? why not.) Now as for how it will go I’ve no idea as with everything else.

Well, luckily for me all negative energy is funneled into my saga (the first novel is part of why my posting is more and more irregular). The two central characters are a study of being screwed by fate, time, and reaping what one sows. I know almost the entire story (getting it to flow on paper is a bitch right now)… though I was surprised that an earlier short story I had written years earlier ended up actually being my ending. I was floored when I re-read it… it was “holy shit that’s the ending!” I guess the story decided to tell itself out of order. But then, time is merely one perceptual filter… who says creativity is bound to the same limitation.

Odd little tangent over… I think.

Well that post may end up making mine rather wrong. The post that I’m nearly finished with has Eri/Brant (sex may happen unless you say something then I’ll not do it for now.) It’ll have some explanation of the longest night.

/Note I don’t think the sex scene will be written good (Or maybe it will ) in fact it’ll be bad and not in a good way.

I’ll be looking forward to your post, and I hope my current story archs are not messing with yours, too much. I bet you can guess who Eri’s grandfather is. Did you ever read The Daughter of Fu Manchu? As for sex between her and Brant, well, she’s over eighteen, isn’t she? And she’s a cat girl, so she’s going to have sex. Period.

I wish you well with your proposed sex scene. As is well known, I don’t mess with sex scenes, myself (altho a little grabass is okay), not prudish, but trying to describe sex in print boggles me. I’ve never been able to pull it off well, so I avoid it. I may have to make an exception, tho, if Yuki goes through with her idea of penetrating the sex club (something she’s pretty ambivalent about, and so am I).

By the by, Tairano Masakado is looking for a virgin sacrafice. How about Xallie?

When my wife read this last post, she said: “But I thought Yoshimi was a lesbian.” I think she was a littel disappointed She’s not aware that scenes where girls get crushes on other girls or get into funny and/or embarrassing sexual situations with each other are standard tropes in anime, but that doesn’t mean that they are full blown yuris. Yoshimi is Yoshimi, that’s all, and whatever else may befall is purely coincidental. She also likes dog, you know.
