As these two new games are probably going to be out soon, I just want to ask how the story is for these two games.
Also, do either of these games feature the same gratuitous (and unavoidable) rape scenes of its predecessors? I honestly hope not.
The reason I’m asking this is I like a good story in the bishoujo games I play
X-Change 3 is more of the same, really.
X-Change Alternative looks to have story going for it, but I don’t really know much about it.

Well, consider two things then:
1. Th english market doesn't have access to just about anything, so while the english companies do try to bring out decent stuff, never expect too much.
2. The X-change games are mainly _comedy_ games, and such games generally doesn't have a very serious story, as such...
I'm not saying bad thorugh; the X-change series stories may pale in comparison to some of the stuff at the japanese market but believe me, I've seen far worse stuff in terms of story than the X-change series...

You have this character, who just a little while ago was a full-blooded, raging hormones teenaged boy who probably would’ve busted his nut if he was a guy in all those rape situations yet it so happens he’s a girl now.
The Morale Delimma: Is he turned on? Should he be turned on?
If you notice each time Takuya gets raped, his logical mind tells him its bad and wrong, but because of who he his (which is a guy) he can’t help but get turned on and get into the scenese cuz even though he’s the girl, it still doesn’t hit him that he IS the girl… So it’s probably like he’s watching a Porno Movie, except he feels everything the girl is feeling in the porno… Kind of an exesstential experience dealing with the mind/body delimma.
Masterfully written and well thought out scenes that give great insight into his boy/girl psyche which ultimately is why we all play X-change.
Please do NOT remove those scenes!

Well, me, I'd probably be the alst guy on this board to question or complain about the existence of rape-scenes in the X-change series. I do, however, complain/question the logic behind soem fot hese scxenes. Takuya being raped/molested by a teacher, or "seduced" by a close friend for example, is not that illogical or questionable - especially since part of the point of this game is to show both advantages (err, is there really any - for poor Takuya, that's it?) and disadvantages of being a woman - and being raped is something most of the male sex never has to fear (natural advantage for us, I guess Xp). But the appearnce of the rape-bus is pretty much illogical and questionable. If they (the story writters) want Takuya to get raped, they could simply have arranged for him to be attacked by some on his way hoem through the park or something - much more realistic, at least...
If you were looking for full-on realism, the fact that Takuya can be changed into a girl by some rediculous machine would totally question the entire premise of the game’s existence!
And just to note, this is a comedy series, not a social documentry on the plight of women and sex.
So the Rape Bus is supposed to be a situational joke with the comedy being that Takuya has the crappiest luck, not only does he find the rape bus as a girl, but he gets raped as well. It lets us buy into the idea he has craptastic luck and gives us spank materiel as well as a quick laugh.
Another thing to note though, how come choosing the string panties gets you raped by the P.E. teacher? Meaning why is there no good outcome from string panties? I was much saddened by this aspect. More String Panties Plz!

The XC series was always meant to be stupid fun, not a in-depth examination of the lives of the transgendered. Neither was Ranma 1/2. If you really want to see the subject handled semi-sereously, check out Cheeky Angel.
