For those who’ve finished the game - how are the sex scenes? The early ones were described as quasi-forced. I’m wondering how that played out later on…

I just finish the games and overall it was great game. Story lines are very funny. I take as the joke. Anyway, Sex-Scenes are good because each girls have different sex-sceces. Alos, very simple and it is easy to finish the game. About the harelm it was funny because they transformed to .... that. Anyway, first sex- senes are more like rape but afterwards more like the hardcore sex. But I really likee this games. Will maybe somebody might explain better then me lol
Well now that more people have got the game and have played it they’re more qualified to answer your questions. Since I haven’t had a chance to play the game since my last post.
I also just finished the game and overall it is not too bad. There are some endings better then others and one that seems to be the ‘best’ ending.
Might not rank amongst my top five favorites but it is also very far from the bottom of my list.

Not really, just have played most of the games that have been released in English so I guess if that counts yeah it is somewhat big.

To paraphrase a favorite tv line of mine "Life's been treating me like it caught me in bed with it's wife." Managed to get the flu, an infection and a cold all one after another and this past weekend had a 48 hours period where I spent 40+ of them at work. Been a little frazzled, I havn't even opened Jewel Knights, much less installed the thing. I'm hoping with the long weekend at the end of the month, I'll catch up on things. I'll have the reviews I promised to submit ready by the 31st at the latest.

Well too bad, I trained them to eat vegetables. 
Hmm, finally got a chance to play the game myself. Got through two routes. Not particularly enjoying the game personally. I think I’m having a disjointed reaction because of the mix of the dark aspects and the comedy aspects. That and the protaganist annoys the heck out of me. And I sort of wonder if the artist has “breast issues”. I mean, they seem to be either “really big” or “barely existant”, no middle ground…
Yeah the protagonist is pretty much an asshole. But you have to admit this might be the first game that mixes dark elements with comedy
I think if the main character had been more likeable, even with the forced sex scenes at the beginning, maybe the game would have seemed less dark. In truth I wonder they made him such a asshole, even a slight change would have made him easy to accept in the role of ‘hero’.

Well, it's the first I've seen. But with my brain bouncing back and forth between laughing and disgust, I'm having a hard time just sitting and enjoying it. The gears in my head don't work too well after constant shifting. Maybe I'll go bounce through Heart de Roommate a couple of times before getting the other paths on Jewel Knights...
