Reporting bootlegged goods seller

No, not the same site. It’s (link removed). I just took a look. And it seems you can still find most games in their forum. :x

The actions we can take depend on several factors. We don’t have an elite squad of ninjas at our disposal who can swoop in and take out the pirates at will (at least not one I’m at liberty to discuss), but there are legal tools we can use that are quite persuasive, especially when dealing with hosts/service providers when the sites themselves prove uncooperative. We can’t take down every single pirate out there, but we can do a lot to bite at their ankles until many of them go away.

We’re still working on the Singapore case you brought up; they’re being incredibly obstinate about their right to allow their users to sell illegal bootlegged pornography on Yahoo Auctions -_-. One or two more faxes from us should shut them down, though.

On other fronts we’ve been meeting with some considerable success lately - there are a bunch of folks running a combination of megaupload/blogspot piracy operations that we’ve been able to dismantle in the past couple of weeks.

We’re aware of the site you mention as well as a few other similar forum sites. We’ve got our eye on them and will be going after them shortly.

We take all reports of piracy of our games seriously, and appreciate it whenever we receive information that can help us track them down and shut them down. If you have any tips in this regard you can contact me via PM or at (pr@jastusa.com). Thanks again for the help of everyone who’s let us know about pirate activity over the past few months!

Shingo: best of luck in dealing with them. ^^ Ganbatte, ne! I think they’re just trying to push responsibility to others.

Hmmm… still, I’ve a feeling the same person might pop up again under a new userid. :?

Perhaps we should tell Mirror-moon about that site too. They give links to MM for a translation (including a full version of tsukihime). :expressionless: MM doesn’t want to be associated with piracy.

Edit: My apologies for posting a link in my previous post. I forgot there may be persons who don’t mind downloading illegal games.

As long as they see a huge profit, it’s usually worth the risk after lying low for a bit, if even that.
