Hi, my first post here, sorry if I did something wrong. 
I just want to make a request to Peach Princess staff if they can translate some of this 3D hentai games out there and more interactive games like The Maid Story, Brave Soul and Princess Makers.

Just an opinion, since Iām a newbie myself, but I believe the existence of the forum dedicated to Japanese B-games not released in English serves this very same purposeā¦ IIRC, Peach Princess would usually take a look at what is the hottest B-game thatās not released, and would try to translate it.
At least thatās what it said on wikipedia.
Itās not simply a fact of what games they want to translate, itās if the Japanese Companies will allow them to translate it and give them the support they need to bring across a successful translation.
Since the market for Bishojo Games here is still incredibly small and the market for them in Japan is crazy huge, most companies wonāt even allow Pea Pri access because they wonāt make any money off of it.
not to mention that companies would tend to charge us much more for licensing fees for the more popular games making it finanically unfeasible for us to pursue

Come to think of it,as far as I can rememberI never saw 3D bishoujo game get translated.I wonder why?
There are patches flying around for a couple brain-dead 3D bishoujo games, like Biko 2.
One that doesnāt seem too bad that seems to have a good patch is Artificial Girl 2.
Really you donāt even need a patch for AG2ā¦

Iād liek to imagine some of them.
Neverthelessā¦ I hope this wonāt last forever.
Unfortunately, the eroge market over here is going to be niche for a while. At the very least 1) anime has to become mainstream to the point where all ages watch it, and 2) as a result hentai has to become mainstream as an acceptable form of porn. So probably another 20 years, when our generation has children and grandchildren?
And letās face it, even then most people hate to read.
But who knows, thereās always hope.
Thatās very close to being achieved now. There will always be those who wonāt watch it and those who will make up for everyone who doesnāt. However anime is quickly reaching saturation point atleast in North America. I canāt say what the deal is elsewhere.
Itās probably also near the current saturation level. To get more theyād almost have to have non-h versions of the type of games.
Both areas still have room for growth, especially outside NA.

Iām personally hoping that Japanās ass-backwards laws and censorship practices will end someday, at least for manga/games/anime (of course, thatād put a big dent in the market in the West since pirated copies of Japanese stuff would no longer be censored either and fan-translations with patches would probably become more widespread as well). Manga is already 90% of the way there since the censorship methods used barely cover up anything.
If only the Japanese game/anime companies were as relaxed with their censorship as the manga onesā¦ That way we wouldnāt have to keep hanging on to the notion that a US release of big-name games will maybe, possibly, hopefully come someday so that we can play games like Kanon or KimiNozu without a huge mosaic covering the entire genital region.

It may be reaching the saturation point, but the thing is itās still not being taken seriously as a medium, art form, etc. Once it becomes more accepted, then I think weāll see more growth. Thing is, thatāll take time. The current children are growing up with it, so whenever they take over is probably when weāll see more of it.
And hopefully the fan translation of Kanon will be done soon. Itās almost done from what the status report saysā¦
Actually it is now. Graphic Novels FE are now being given special awards at the major literary cerimonies as their own categories, like childrenās books.
Animation has for a while been given special awards as well in the film industry. Anime is also slated to be given itās own sub-section as well. It wonāt take another generation. Thatās because when most of the people now watching it were in diapers there were people bringing it over and they are now major figures in the industry.
There are enough truly awesome literary anime out there that anime should be recognized as an art form. Kinoās Journeys, Eva, Haibane Renmei, Angelās Egg, to name just a few. Itās also on Cartoon Network which will improve its exposure.
We havenāt seen a huge blowup over hentai recently (remember the paper panties thing?) so I think itās only a matter of time.

look, i dont mind you guys talking about the xc3 issue in a civilized manner, but i will lock and ban people if things go haywire (again) and people start to insult other members (regardless of topic discussed), so keep that in mind and dont blame me if i have to lock/ban when its necessary for me to do so (or i have people requesting me to do so)
and think about it. if we are really ācensoring the censorship issueā, we would have done worse. peter would not have made a single response at all, and would have ordered me not to just lock the thread but to delete all related posts the minute i see them. have i deleted anything on the matter yet? clearly not. i locked it because people are starting to become a nuissance (or to be very blunt, total assholes) over there and please understand that i locked it simply to calm people down so to speak
anyhow, if you are not hurting anyone (which unfortunately isnāt the case in the other thread) then talk away. im staying neutral on this issue as always but will still maintain my authoritive rights if necessary since my job here is to maintain a friendly and civilized environment on the bbs.
however, that being said, if you really want to do a request, doing it here wonāt have much effect since peter does not check the bbs that often and i think itās more effective to flood him with emails if you want your voices āreallyā heard

Edit: Damn, beaten by minutes. Though I was pretty close to being right.
The reason the thread was locked is because people were just acting like assholes and not getting any real discussion done. Not because of requests. The main page says the game is uncensored as in, there are no mosaics, but I can see that people would take it other ways, since it is techinically true that you are right.
If you want to discuss this in a civil manner, I believe you are free to do so, but the key word is civil, once people start becoming assholes again, expect your or any other thread to be locked, as I believe it is highly looked down upon on this board.
Keep in mind this is all my opinion from what Iāve read, Iām not a moderator or administrator, so any of my opinions could very well be wrong.

It would be better to continue the discussion in another thread if we chose to instead of hijacking this one, with the noting why the previous one was closed and do so in a cil manner.
I think itās better to leave the 3-D games to fan translators, thereās usually very little story and text in those games so let them do the work. Also if youāve been playing b-games for awhile you donāt need the voices tranlsated in the sex scenes. I think we all know by now what āyamiteā and ākimochiiā mean.
