Slave Bazaar-Renaissance- First Impression

Got the DVD in hand here since yesterday…
The cover art on the DVD case is nice…all 3 lead female in platmail on horses.

About the contents of the game…
I’ve only play that game for a bit so I’ll not go in depth here.
They touched up on the OP movie but never did anything else to it,no new footage nor new OP Song.
Spent sometime on the game,there are now voices for the male character too.Only thing is I’ve expected Fargo’s voice to be deeper considering his age.And there’s no voice for Cassius though.

Final thing,seems that Ruf is making Slave Bazaar 2 from the 33 sec teaser shown on the DVD.Featuring a few returning charas in 1.Apart from that,there’s not much info.

Overall,IMO this is a good make over from the first release a year back.

I'm really sorry to bother you but I have a few question about the game Slave Bazaar-Renaissance. I also just got the game today and was playing it. However, I have a few questions regarding the game since my Japanese is weak.
1.What is the 3 stats that each girl have?
2.How many days are there in the game? (I found only 3-4 days with little event and then straight to ending)
3.Is there a happy end to the story? (In Cecilia story,which I played once, she was shot although I've been nice to her and I've only seen little CG) [img]http://princess.cybrmall.net/ubb/frown.gif[/img]
4.Do you know how to get/buy 3 slave at the same time?

That's right,only 3-4 days,that's why I've state that the game is pretty short.

Yes,there is for every chara.Though you'll have to get their bad ending first.Requirements for to get good ending for all charas are to get the love meter to the max.Nothing too hard about this.To get Mia's good end,you have to get her bad end first and replay the game,for Cecilia,you need to have 800 worth of Dia (Money) with you.[/B][/QUOTE]

Pretty much a light-hearted scenario,not as dramatic as the individual chara's story,kinda disappointed as I was expecting an epic story.

Sorry to bother you furthermore but I still have a few questions from your reply:
1.How do you get 400 Dia to get 3 slave? At the beginning of the game you only start with 315 Dia. Can u buy more slave at the middle of the game?
2.To get Cecilia good ending we need 800 dia!? How am I gonna make that much money? Is there a way to increas your money?
3.How about Bianca? What is the requirement for her ending?
4.Do we have to replay each character’s bad ending in order to get a happy ending?

In the game,you'll recieve more Dia as you go through the story.The amount of Dia you have when you finished a story will be pass over when you start a new game from the old one.
You cannot get any more slaves other then those 3.

Hi Orochi,

1.So you mean that after completing a story/getting an ending, my money will increase if I start again from the beginning?
2.As for Bianca, I think I did max (not fully) her love meter but then she transforms into a demon or some sort and then a war broke out. Does that mean I pick the wrong decision in the game and got a bad ending?

I thought that this was quite an easy game but it’s pretty complicated and hard. There are TONS of CG that I’ve not seen. I also haven’t seen the girl with cane and the mysterious girl.

You have to max that parameter out fully until the colour of the bar changes from Green to Red.

It's a simple game with a good story and some excellent arts for me,nothing too difficult for me except that I had some problem getting a final H-scene in Renaissance mode.

It really saved me. ALRIGHTY!!! I’m gonna try again tonite and get HAPPY ENDING
I really envy you for having be able to play so well. My Japanase language knowledge is downright bad.
BTW,for information on people who are thinking on getting Slave Bazaar-Renaissance here are a few notes to go along with it:
1.The game will not run under Windows ME with Richwin or NJwin. Although I’m not sure whether it was because of the OS or the DVD regional coding.
2.The game works under Windows 98 with Richwin but you have to use minimum install (if you anything larger the game will freeze after the opening movie) and you have to rename the folder in your hard drive into an English name.
3.You can’t view the 2 extra movies that Will put in the CD.

I think I need to upgrade my OS into Win XP but I still hear some bugs on it so I think I’ll wait until Bill perfected it.

There's really no such thing as an "upgrade" where Microsoft products are concerned. It's more of a case of trade-off, especially with their OS's. You install the latest one, you might gain certain features but you'll certainly lose others. As far as Windows XP is concerned, if you're using Windows 98SE, it's definitely more of a downgrade than an upgrade, but if you really insist on using Windows XP, contact me as I can "assist" you in getting it. If you want to play the new games from japan I recommend you to get Xp with japanese support,it works alot better instead of trying to emulate and crap =P
But my recommendation is to do like I did,you should dual boot with both Xp and 98.
It works perfectly and in that way I can still play all of my old underdogs without any problems =)

One of many concern I had with Win XP at the moment is its incompability with a few softwares. Plus, old games such as Three Sisters Story or Season of Sakura will not work under Win XP.

I don't know, but I think it's either because that:

1. they want to save both a lot of work and money by concentrating on just some of the titles for the time being

or it's because that

2. Crowd and Will are getting impatient about their games not being very successful so far and have refused to do any more work on the suspended titles unless Peach Princess becomes more successful with their current titles within this year

Or it's because that

3. Peach Princess can't afford to do any more work on these titles and have therefore suspended their titles for the time being.

I saw the some of the endings of Slave Bazaar-Renaissance but some of them are hard to understand without proper Japanese language knowledge [img]http://princess.cybrmall.net/ubb/smile.gif[/img] like myself [img]http://princess.cybrmall.net/ubb/tongue.gif[/img]

Some of the CG patch are hard to get so I would say that this is quite a challenging game. I can't wait to see PeaPri released it

HELP!!!
I have almost completed most of the CG’s and got some of the endings.
However, there is one ending that I still couldn’t get and that is Cecilia’s ending.
I followed Ororchi’s guide where I’ve got 800 Dia, which I know why, and I have max out her love meter to red (which happened near the end). But I still got the same ending as I did when I first played the game.

Can anyone who played the game please help me in hint/guides?
