Sonicomi questions and answers?

I am interested in getting Sonicomi on Steam, but have questions related with the game?

  1. Can my computer run this game at Max settings at 720P Minimal Resolution up to 1600◊900 Max Resolution at Lock 60FPS or higher complete with Max Anti-aliasing/Anisotropic filtering settings. Because here is my computers specs:
    Microsoft Windows 10 Home OS

Version is 10.0.10586 Build 10586

CPU AMD Athlone II X4 635 Processor 2900 Mhz, 4 Cores, 4 Logical Processors

Bios ver American Megatrends Inc. 6.04 9/7/2010

SMBIOS ver 2.6

Embedded Controller Version 255.255

BIOS Mode is Legacy

Hardware Abstraction Layer is Version = "10.0.10586.420

My Installed Physical Memory (RAM) is 4.00GB

With Total being 3.75 GB

Available being 1.08 GB

Total Virtual Memory being 7.06 GB

Available Virtual Memory being 3.02 GB

Page File Space being 3.31 GB

My GPU is a integrated Ati radeon HD4200 on a 2010 HP Desktop computer

  1. If it is too under powered to run the game at Max settings at 720P Minimal Resolution up to 1600◊900 Max Resolution Lock 60FPS or higher complete with Max Anti-aliasing/Anisotropic filtering settings, what parts do I need to get at a cheapest price to do what I want for my PC? Because I am a dedicated Console/Handheld gamer and would only prefer to get super cheap parts to enjoy the game at Max settings at 720P Minimal Resolution up to 1600◊900 Max Resolution Lock 60FPS or higher complete with Max Anti-aliasing/Anisotropic filtering settings? or What is the cheapest custom built PC gaming machine I can make at a cheap price?

  2. Does the game have a Field of view (FOV) settings?

  3. If no, can it be hacked?

  4. Does the game have Ultra-widescreen support?

  5. If no, can it be hacked via video card driver?

  6. Does the game have Anisotropic filtering (AF) settings?

  7. If no, can it be hacked via video card driver?

  8. Does the game have Anti-aliasing (AA) settings?

  9. If yes, can it be hacked to have higher Anti-aliasing via video card driver

  10. Does the game have Vertical sync (Vsync) setting support?

  11. If no, can it be hacked via video card driver?

  12. Does the game have a Frame Rate cap, if yes how high?

Any help would be welcomed for this game in the future when I buy it?

Your system seems to need a better graphics card if you want it at Max settings. The you can set some of those settings in the game setup, and others via the graphics card drivers. The ultrawide screen setting I am not sure of. There is no setting to change the FOV angle, but in the free Mode you can change the camera zoom, which functions like FOV.

So I need a better graphics card for the game, anything else I need, also what graphics card would you recommend me that is cheap enough a to run the game at max setting at 720P 60FPS or better. Keep in note I do not want anything super powerful because I am a console/handheld only gamer, and only prefer to play on those formats, because right now, Sonicomi on Steam is the only game I am interested in playing on PC and nothing else? I also would like to know what settings I can do via graphics card drivers, and which ones do what on both AMD or Nvidia graphics card drivers, as different graphics card drivers will affect different games according to PCGamingwiki.

Any help would be welcomed?

That’s a really weak graphics solution for any 3D game. You’ll want at least a Geforce 730 ($60) for 720p, or a Geforce 950 ($135) for 1080p.

Make sure your power supply can handle the extra load before you buy, and that the card you pick fits your case.

That is good for both 720p or 1080p, but is their a GPU that you would recommend me that can Handel the game at Max Setting at 1600 x 900 resolution at 60FPS or better?

Also here is my computer specs to see if I need to upgrade/change anything else besides the GPU?

Just get the Geforce 730 if this is the only PC game you’ll ever play. You might have to make sacrifices (resolution, lower settings, or deal with reduced framerate at times), but no point spending more than $150 for one game, right?

Though honestly, many console games come out on Steam nowadays for cheaper. Could be worth building a PC that doesn’t suck and just plugging your gamepad into your PC and your PC into your TV. Depends on what types of games you play I guess.

From the looks of it being a console/handheld only gamer, I might want to wait 6 months to a year later to see if an english port of Sonicomi for the PS3 via the Japan only port as a limited english retail/digital release from PQube Games. Or ports for the PS4/PS4 Neo, PS Vita/TV, and/or the Nintendo NX. Because Nitroplus games are no stranger at getting ports for the dedicated consoles/handhelds via the PlayStation platforms.

I wouldn’t count on it. But neither would I recommend upgrading or buying new hardware to play a single game.

Older integrated graphics are generally insufficient for 3D PC games. It might work, it might not. You could throw the dice and see if it works on your current system. Otherwise, you should check out JAST’s lineup of 2D titles (i.e., all the rest).
