happy now?

Actually, I spend all my days loathing my own existence. And now yours.

So for us that dont have money or live close enough to any good expos or Cons,
A-kon = End of may?
and Comic Con= end of august?

that’s the TENTATIVE time, yes.

That reminds me, is anyone going to A-Kon or Comic-con this year?

unless someone gives me plane ticket and accomodations, and unless someone gives me 3 more reasons why I should go, no :stuck_out_tongue:

As always, I will be at comic-con. don’t know about A-kon yet.

Pardon my ignorance, but what is A-Kon?

Project: A-Kon in Texas

Heh, I was just mainly curious. I had originally planned on going to comic-con last year but a major project got pushed back to that period and they wouldn’t let me take any vacation. I’m playing with the idea of going this year, but I have a family vacation in October and I’m trying to buy my own place right now. If there were the chance to meet several of the people here face to face, I’d have to weight that in my decision. (Question is, would any of you want to meet me, face to face?)

I wouldn’t mind meeting everyone here.

Are you hot? (Just kidding ^_^)

Oh, Texas, that’s too far. I’ve been going to the Anime Expo for the past couple of years which are always in nice locations, about a half hour away.

Only when I set myself on fire...

For me, conventions were a bit easier to attend when I lived in Chicago but now I live in Hawaii and it takes a bit more in the way of funds and planning...

You live in Hawaii? Why do we have to go to a convention then? Let just all pile in a plane and visit Ekylo!

You do this often?

On purpose? No. Accidentally? Er, more often than I care to admit...

And if you ever plan on visiting me, wait till I get my own place at least. Otherwise, you'll have to stay in a closet or something...

Heh, so that means whenever we wake up, we have to come out of the closet.

blinks I must be tired. I didn’t even realize the potential of that comment. (stupid 16-hour work days…) Not that there’s anything wrong with coming out of the closet. Or staying in one. Depends how comfortable you are with closets.

Er, nevermind. I think I sprained something in my head just now. But in a vain attempt to steer the conversation back to something that has something to do with bishoujo, what convention do you feel is the best to attend for bishoujo things? Or maybe just anime in general?

for anime and convienence, it’s AX in LA. I do attend comic-con each year, but the focus isn’t only anime. For bishoujo, I am not sure.
