Just a small note to incase anybody missed the NEWS. The Supreme Court ruled that the Very Broad kiddie porn law is UNCONSTITUTIONAL!!! Hurry for the the Court!! The way that law was written just about anybody owning a copy of ANY number of games by Peach Princess OR Himeya Soft would be guilty of Kiddie porn charges and G-D knows what would have happened to Peach Princess etal… I just thank the wise heads on the court that common sense prevailed…

Like the campaign finance reforms (even though they don’t directly affect Ashcroft–just his cronies)? Conservatives have claimed that the reforms impair folks’ First Amendment rights. Isn’t it funny that Right Wingers don’t think that dictating how consenting, adult porn stars can dress or act (such conservatives would have any schoolgirl cosplay be illegal) or whether a person can watch a dirty movie is unconstitutional, but putting limits on how much money companies can put in their already fat pockets is an intolerable Free Speech violation?
Well, that just show you how fake they are when they take high moral ground on any issues, they would comprise in a second when it hits them in the pocket. They wouldn’t get elected if they don’t have that advantage in soft money. I have a long time ago give up the idea that this government can be responsive to its citizen when the top 5% income group control every members of the congress and the white house.

Can’t make out what they’re saying Well, I only have the altavista tool to rely on), but there seems to be discussicons concering “prohibitions” of under-age looking characters in adult bishoujo games…

From reading what you wrote, I am guessing (more like presuming) they are talking about the Anti-K!dd!e P0rn law that is specifically for Japan, and I have read about it (meaning that there has been discussions about it) years ago actually. If yyoshi is around I am sure he can fill you in some details.
I may be wrong about what the jp BBS is discussing, but that’s the only thing I can think of. I will get back to you once I have my japanese windows ready for the internet next week.
