The Off the Wall (for this board) Questions Thread

Time for a bit of thread necromancy, since I have a new question. I’m still rather disappointed that nobody helped me out last time with my question, but sometimes you just can’t get a good answer. In any case, here is the situation: For many, many years I’ve used an old program called Programmer’s File Editor when I mess around with things such as scripts for games and such. (By scripts, I mean something like Lua for example.) Given that this program has not been developed for over ten years (development stopped in 1999), I think it might be advisable to start using a more current program since I’m on a Windows 7 64bit system now. So with that said, does anyone have any suggestions on a free, easy to use program that can replace it? One program that has been suggested in a mod wiki for the game I’m messing with right now is Notepad++.

Aw man, I wanted to solve the question, but I just couldn’t get through it.
And I remember a frnd using Notepad++, why don’t you give it a try? Hey if it works for you, its the best isn’t it?
