i just wanted to express my great joy as seeing so many junior members these days…it’s great ot have you all here!!! it gives me hope for the english bishoujo gaming genre! this way it’s quicker than individually saying hi
and now, a welcoming bounce ::bounce bounce bounce:: i don’t know how to do that bouncing smiley face
I am curious though, what prompted the sudden change? Has anyone done a survey of how people found their way here? it might yield valuable information on how to attract others

And what better way to welcome people here then a welcome bounce from a pretty girl eh?
Hmm, it's always an interesting question as to how people get here. Wonder if the recent release of Critical Point helped any? (Or maybe Elise herself? )
, I love it when you bounce. :bounce: I’ll even be honest about it. I enjoy it. It does have medicinal properties though. German scientists have found that staring at womens breasts regularly is good for the heart. Something to do with raising the heart rate. On topic, I’m glad to see us too. I hope sales are rising. I really want Peach Princess to succeed.
I found Peach Princess after buying a piece of software (bishoujo poker game) on ebay. It turned out to be pirated. I liked the game and wanted a legitamate copy. This led me to Himeya and Jast. I purchaced it and TCI. I then found that TCI was by Peach Princess, and visited the site to see what else they had to offer. I have since purchased 4 games (Snow Drop,CP LE,XChange, and CP RE) and two tshirts (TCI and LMM). I have been visiting the site since Feb. 2002
Well personally I found my way here when I was looking at one of my favorite review sites, animetric.com and was looking around and saw a section called Bishoujo games. I thought… what’s that? and after investigating further, I found some nice games Rowena reviewed which were sold by Peach Princess and looked interesting, I bought and enjoyed a couple of them and so ended up here.
I visited animenations forum and kumiko was posting there. I could tell from her posts that she owned a site. So i checked her profile and found the link to this site.
oh what’s up with this!? I’ve been here for quite awhile and now I finally get noticed around here!? :sighs: I swear, do I have to become a women to just get someone to say hi to me around here…? Out of all the people here only one person welcomes me here and that’s it. I swear you people are all heartless! . . . . . . . . . . . . . . Just kidding!
Anyway as for me, how I discover this wonderful world is surprisingly quite by accident. You see one day while I was doing reserch for a project I was working on for school. I type in the wrong address to get to where I was going. Natuarlly I would of just hit the back button. But when I saw the welcome page for Peach Princess. I figured what the hell. So I started to look around the site and the BBC. Upon entering it I read the many postes and read up on what Bishoujo is. Now that I had an understand of what it is. I was just about to leave when a certain topic caught my eye. It was about the game Snow Drop and I started reading up on it. As I was reading the many postes, the game was a romantic game, and being the romantic that I am. I gave the game a try and ever since then I’m been hooked on to this wonderful world of bishoujo games. That is my story…
By the way, I want to ask a question. Please nobody flame me for asking but, when you quote someone. How do you put “Originally posted by whomever”?

You mean like that? Hmm, usually the "reply with quote" will automatically add the code for it. Otherwise, you can manually enter the UBB Codes for it like you would for HTML.
Why'd you think we'd flame you for asking that? (Well, other than for the obvious "Dragon" jokes) Questions are always welcomed and for the most part, everyone will treat it with an open mind and try to help out. We're all about helping others out and increasing one's knowledge, even if it's a simple question about BBS posting.

Hello! Hello! It’s good to be here! Oh boy Oh boy!!! I got my games and shirt today! WOOOO! It was what I was looking forward to allllll day! I can finally relax now that the games are in my hands! (I hate waiting for good things to come in the mail…seems like it takes forever!) I still haven’t opened the games yet because for some strange reason I love cherishing new things I get before I open them!
But on the topic of this post…I simply found my way here to Peach Princess, because the other day outta the blue I decided to visit Sogna’s webpage again (love their hyper animation) to see if they have posted anything new on their english website after the last year or so…and not suprisingly they have not lol. Sooo, I’m just like O.K. I think I will just go visit Jast and see what they have been up to. I noticed they had a new webdesign. And I started looking threw the updates and most of it was pretty much about Peach Princess games. I was just like O.K., what about Jast? I had noticed they were still working on Transfer Student. Kinda made me laugh because it had to be at least half a year since I heard it was coming out and it still has not. heh. So I continue browsing threw the other companies already knowing about Himeya, Hobibox, etc…not really seeing anything of interest. I visited Peach Princess’ site and they had the most interesting of games. And that as they say is that.
I’ve known about Jast for years, since they first started publishing games in the US, I think. (“Hey! There’s this company that’s actually translating hentai games!”) So every now and then I would visit the Jast website. I’ve got Season of the Sakura, 3 Sisters and May Club. Eventually Jast put up a link to Peach Princess. Then eventually I worked up the courage to post something here…I recently got some disposable income so I may actually buy something from Peach Princess soon. …oops, does that mean I’m not allowed to post here?
I found out about JAST around 1998 and have been keeping up with the localization of bishoujo games ever since.
I never had enough money to buy JAST games, but I finally started buying games, instead of just reading about them on the website, when Himeya started up.
After seeing all the rampant piracy, I decided it was best to try and buy as many games as possible, and when Peach Princess came about I made sure I’ve gotten everything they’ve put out.

Thanks Ekylo for the help. I just wish everyone was open minded. Just the other day I got into an argument with some kid about bishoujo and started saying that I was a pervert and all this crap! So I started to explain what bishoujo was all about and he still kept being a jackass about it. I swear the guy didn't even know what he was talking about. I mean the guy didn't even spell "hentai" right! LOL.
I learned about the bishoujo games from a Right Stuff catalog in November of 2001. My first visit to Peach Princess happen in February of 2002. I needed Kumiko’s help with the Snow Drop game. Anyway, I finally can respond to a topic.
