To be Continued

There's a True Love Story 3 out for the PS2 in Japan...any relation?

The biggest question I have concerns Tokimeki Check-in. When you get a "best" ending, and all the pictures go by, you see "To be Continued...." at the bottom of the 'Fin' screen. I want to know if that means there is a sequel in the near future, or it just tells the player to wait and view more scenes from Takayuki's life with the girl he feel in love with.

Just a prelude to the Best Ending. Although we can always hope for more!

My answer is no. True Love Story 3 is not True Love sequel.

I have PSX's True Love Story. I try to bid PSX's True Love Story 2.

Add: I also have PC's True Love. True Love Story 1-3 are non adult dating simulation games.

You forgot about Desire.

I’ve pretty much explained this to death on the Himeya BBS, but anyway…

Desire was never intended to have a sequel. In the original PC9801 version, the phrase was actually “To Be Continued…forever”. It was one of the saddest endings I’ve ever encountered since it implies that Tina/Martina is trapped in the eternal loop of death and rebirth, with no hope of ever escaping. When Desire was redone for the Sega Saturn and JWin95, C’s Ware slotted in a happy ending instead and removed the “forever” from the phrase.

Considering that EVE: The Fatal Attraction is now on sale (albeit you have to import it here), I don’t suppose that the “To Be Continued” at the end of ADAM: The Double Factor will be so much of a nuisance anymore.

See to me, The Desire Sequel would be about Al and Tina attempting to close the time loop for good. The really interesting thing this time around is that Al would be on the island twice. As “future” Al you would have the option of altering events from the previous game…for example running into Christy before she got to “present” Al’s room, so “present” Al could have the threesome with Makoto and Reiko. How would that have altered events? I think there’s a possible game here.
