Well, I’m new to this type of gaming and I have an question that has yet to be answered. In the game Tokimeki Check In, I was wondering if the characters actually moved, such as arms or something when you talk to them. or is it just a still picture that acts like a slide show from one scene to another?
wow that was one heck of a fast response. Thanks for the info!!
So wait a minute, what does it look like then? It’s just a motionless picture talking to me?

No, no, not really . As she said, Tokimeki check-in has facial animations, which means that the character DOES move, in way... for example if you make the girl in question angry, she'll loom happy (for example, if you makes Makoto mad in nay way, she'll change her expression (she usually smiles at first) but when you amek her mad, she'll look mad... it's kinda difficult to describe, but in short: Yes, in a way, the characters move. It's not just like a picture's talking to you, I promise
You can think of it slightly in terms of conventional animation. There’s a background image with a character image ‘overlayed’ on it. So the backgrounds are consistent throughout play but the characters individual images changes. (As opposed to a more still picture image with the character and background incorporated into one.)
Alright, that’s all I needed to know. Thanks a bunchers!
Hmmm…it seems everytime I say “Thank you for answering” I end up getting a totally different answer afterwards. I guess I’ll just wait and see what it’s like. But thanks anyway. I just said thank you, didn’t I?

Well, that's the thing about a BBS, we're all approaching things from different angles and sometimes there's a little confusion in the process. But we do try to be as helpful as possible and to promote understanding. And we always have the delightful Kumiko to steer us back on track if we stray.
I don’t want to sound like I’m hyping up Tokimeki Check-In! or anything, but it’s AWSOME! I’ve had it for about two weeks and I’ve just got one of the best endings (Mai’s ending) and it’s so beautiful, nearly made me cwy. I’ve still got another 13 endings to find yet too and I’ve only got 35% of the CG. It’s by far the best bishoujo game I’ve played yet and a huge game. I’ll write a full review when I’ve played it fully and got all of the endings.
But it’s the romantic comedies that are the crowd-pleasers here. (And that equals sales.)

I gave out TCI to my two best friends as Christmas gifts. Naturally, they both have only been able to get ending 15. The interesting part is that one of my friend's sister and her husband played the game and were able to get half the endings (I don't know the CG %) in the same amount of time. Not sure what that means, but it's interesting all the same. Maybe I'll buy both of them Snow Drop for their birthdays next...
Well, I just got the game through the mail and I must say that it deserves all the praise that it has been given. But there’s only one thing…I can’t believe I got ending #15 after all that work I did!!! Anime women…sheesh.
Well, that’s the usual problem people have hen they play Tokimeki Check-In. It’s kind of hard to figure out the way to the other endings sometimes, even the easy ones… Hmm, but, it isn’t allt that hard to win the love of some of the girls . You just have to do it in the right way… And their hearts are yours . Hmm, I got by the way Mai-sans best ending yesterday evening… that means that there’s about three more endings to find (I think)

You think? You mean you havn't been checking them off as you go along?
Don’t get me wrong, I think that Snow Drop was also a very good game and the story line was excellent, but there was a few things that bothered me about it, like that most (not all) of the choices seemed to consist of “Where do you want to go next?”, and I don’t think anyone can possibly predict what might happen depending on where you go (that is, until you’ve played it a few times). I prefer the games where the choices actually matter, for example, you are talking to someone and you have choices of what to say to them - you can predict outcomes easier that way and the game feels more like you’re having real interaction with the characters in it. Choosing where to go CAN be a good idea though, for example, if you know that a certain character is supposed to be in a certain location, then it would be good, but otherwise it’s really just guesswork.
Whoops, you reminded me, after I got sick over the holidays I didn’t go back and work on my Snow Drop chart. There is some logic to where you meet the various characters, especially on the slopes but as for when, that does seem to be more of a luck factor than anything. (Then again, that’s like real life. Even if you know your friend is on the expert slope, with all the other skiers around and such, it’s a matter of luck if you bump into them there unless you purposely schedule to meet there or hang with each other.)
Anyways, I do have a chart that does help point out who will be where and when in Snow Drop. I’m cleaning it up after some suggestions from Kumiko-san, whom I gave my rough draft to. Hopefully, once it’s cleaned up, it’ll be added to the Detailed guide as an additional game aid. That ought to help right?

I've been checking them, alright, but I'm still not really sure ... anyway, I think it's just Ayumis Happy ending, Yukis Happy Ending and Kyokas Happy Ending left to uncover... Let's see if I manages to get one of those endings tonight ^_^.
