Oh, it's great having the omake, but that's not my point...the idea is to offer an extra which you can overcharge extravagantly for so we can help boost your profits. Obviously there are a lot of people pulling for you, but since your business structure likely doesn't have a channel for cash donations, putting out a "special edition" bundle would handle that nicely for all of us who want to support Peach Princess. $20 more for a keychain is probably a bit much...but if it were a special poster, say, or one of those notorious T-shirts , that fans could get only by purchasing the bundle...

Well, Snow Drop has a much more "saleable" engine and is a much more sophisticated game - on top of which it does not have any offensive elements at all, since all action in the game is consensual. In other words, it is a much easier sell as an adult product, and tends to appeal to both guys and girls. There are scenes in Tokimeki that really could have been left out to make it not so offensive, and it uses an older game engine without sound support (it has voices, but it doesn't have any sound effects at all, which hurts compared to newer games.)
Hrm, well yes, there were those handful of scenes (and the Ayumi bad ending is devastating), but there's not much to be done about it now. I still find the game's larger cast of characters and much more open-ended feel to be more rewarding than SNOW DROP--not necessarily in a literary sense, but just as a matter of pure fun!
As for the game engines...my initial reaction to CHECK-IN did include disappointment that there were no sound effects, but I got over that quickly. Actually, as I'm alternating between the two games now, I find the perceived drawbacks in SNOW DROP's engine to be greater. One being that single frozen pose for all the characters...which might have been an artistic decision rather than a technical one, but it makes CHECK-IN feel much more fluid even though the animations are less sophisticated. The other thing is that the text window in SNOW DROP strikes me as being unnecessarily large...although the game might not be targeted at my sort of setup (I love the fact that the graphics for both games scale up fantastically on a 21" monitor!), still CHECK-IN did get away with less occlusion of the imagery.

Everyone has their own tastes, too. What we honestly need is for the adult industry and gaming industry to open to these games - we'd be happy to supply them to any adult dealer or game dealer.
Personally, I still don't see much hope for the adult industry...but I'm sure you've been doing the research and making the effort to break through, so you know what you're doing! Maybe I'll look around the web and see if I can find any sites that aim for more of a couples-style audience. Could there also be some camgirls out there who are gamers? How about Asia Carrera, who's been quite active in the Unreal Tournament community?
Incidentally, you mentioned Amazon.com in another thread; I wouldn't hold my breath waiting for them to call back. From conversations in animeondvd.com, it appears the site is advertising and taking orders for adult anime titles, but not stocking or shipping them!

With 1881 files to edit and convert to a different, better engine... it will be quite a while yet, would be the best estimate. Nature of the beast... but it's still well worth it, anyway. It is a top priority, but a game like Critical Point is relatively easy to get out in the meantime.
Oh, so CRITICAL POINT is coming first? Still for December? I guess I'd better order that then. My preorder for LMM is already placed at rightstuf.
