I’d have to say that honor belongs to either Critical Point or to Snow Drop. Tokimeki Checkin! is fun but silly, whereas Critical Point has a well executed serious plot and Snow Drop also, IMO, has a deeper plot than TCI.
it’s all a matter of taste, i guess…if you don’t like very serious stories, then you will probably like tokimeki checkin more…
my favorite bishoujo game changes depending on my mood if i am serious, then snow drop wins (at least until kana arrives)…if i am in a mystery mood, then eve burst error gets it…if i’m silly, then tokimeki gets the prize…and if i must have sims, then the maid’s story all the way
although tokimeki definately has its serious moments…each girl has at least one serious moment, i think…and some of the girls have a lot of them
Well, Nandemonai, serious games like Critial Point and serious/sad gmae slike Kana are good, but if there wasn’t any funny gmaes out at the market, it would quickly grow boring . Even through I like those kinds of games too, I want a little fun too, and therefore it’s good that games like TCI is released by Peach Princess. It also gives the fans a more broad perspective on the genre (and even if I sometimes don’t wish that it was so, it is in a way good that it is the goal of Peach Princess).
Ahem; Current adult bishoujo gmae favourites: Kana, Tokimeki Check-In and Snow Drop.
I’ve played the new games from g-collections, and TCI is still my favorite. I like being able to controll my own destiny. I like that I have 9 distict choices in who I can romantically pursue.
