I seem to have gotten all the best/happy endings but I am unable to get the Ume-San bad ending. Any hints would be appreciated. I have already seen the post about playing ping-pong with Nanami but I seem to be missing earlier triggers.

You guys can count me in. I find Ume-san’s ending very awful . The way Takayuki treats Ayumi in the end just makes me mad .
So far, I have read the tips in the forum and the tip sheet provided by PeachPrincess but I still can’t seem to get Ume-san’s ending.
Using the tips provided, the basic outline of what I did is below. I made a few changes here and there but this is essentially what I did:
1) Sweep the front yard.
2) No, I don’t have a girlfriend.
3) Go to the garden.
4) I’ll be their tour guide.
5) Go to the mountains. (Mountain/Lake)
6) Show Kyoka to her room.
7) Yes, they are pretty.
8) Go to the employee’s room.
9) Take a nap.
10) Pick up the futons.
11) Clean the beds myself. (Should I have let Ume-san clean the beds? The guide made mention of insisting on doing it myself…)
12) Go fishing in the streams.
13) Yes, I’m interested.
14) No Ayumi, you take them the sake.
15) Go to sleep.
16) I choose Nanami.
17)-20) final choices to end
As I understand it, after the ping-pong match I should see Ume-san before the day’s end. Since I never do, I believe I have missed something. I think I made a mistake somewhere, without realizing it, and it trickled down.
I do sorta remember how I got there and I don’t want to say explicitly but there are at least two points in your choices were you aren’t being the lazy bum you really should be to get this ending. (i.e. your being a good host to your guest when you shouldn’t.) Yes, you do insist on doing the futons yourself the one day but that’s so that you get some suspicions in your mind. (Sorry, I’m trying to give you hints without coming out and saying exactly what I did.)
Well, its been awhile since TV’s John Stamos got a 100% on this game but he still hasn’t got Ume-san’s ending. TV’s John Stamos followed Kumiko-san’s clues but to no avail. Can you offer any help computermania?

Maybe if you gave some examples of choice points where you are unsure of or maybe need further understanding why a certain choice is better than another. He's probably talking about the CGs [img]http://princess.cybrmall.net/ubb/smile.gif[/img]. You can get all of them by just getting all the girls best ending [img]http://princess.cybrmall.net/ubb/smile.gif[/img].
You don’t need to see Ume-san bad ending to correct 100% of CGs. Once you got the all of the girl of best ending, happy ending. and Ayumi (virgin or non-virgin), you will have 100% of CGs. Once you got the 100% of the CGs, you will lock the list of the files. You will see the some picture of Ume-san bad ending CGs. Will if you wont to see the Ume-san bad ending: here is the some advice to you. Day One: you have to choose 7 different option. Day Two: Choose 7 different option. Day Three: Choose 3 different option. Also, try to ignore the all of the girls, which means that you don’t nice to them. If you need more than this hints, send to the my e-mail address. Good luck.
Notes: You don’t really wont to see the Ume-san bad ending because I really don’t like it.
Yeah, from reading the posts on this thread I gathered it was pretty bad. But, I’m just curious really. Poor Ayumi. If I was her I’d run away from that place.

Heh, actually I'm playing it over and over because of something Kumiko said in one of the other threads about a character guide. I'm trying to put one together and playing the game is research! Well now I’m extremely apprehensive about getting an Ume-san ending, but it’s driving me nuts if I don’t do this before anything else. I can’t get it out of my head because it seems so uncharacteristic in a game that is otherwise so cheerful. Still trying for that Ayumi ending… I heard that it was the hardest ending to get, but man, I’m tearing my hair out because I don’t know how the routines of a Ryoukan is normally run, so I’m taking an extremely logical approach at this problem. Oh, btw, I thought the panel presentation at BAAF was very good, but the presentation of the game left something to be desired. I think it’s not a great idea to show the ‘load, reload’ gamer’s routine to people, because then the audience gets bored and feels cheated. Hey, we all do it but we don’t show people we save and reload (God knows how many times I’ve saved and reloaded in order to steal every item off of guards and townsmen in Fallout). Well, I like Ayumi the best and I don’t think I’m even gonna try another one until I get her. Right now I just suck at the game, I keep getting “Tranquil Days”
Hmm, I got the “tranquil days” the first time out but I was able to refine it afterwards so I started getting all the others. The most irritating part was that for the longest time I kept getting only “Happy Endings” instead of “Best Ending” because I kept returning to the same save point! (After that key decision point we keep hinting left and right about.)
Ume-San’s ending isn’t the greatest but I had to see it at least once. I don’t think I had any problems getting the Ayumi ending once I started refining my choices. (I don’t know the routine of a Ryoukan any better than you do. I sorta focused on her as a person more than anything.) Any specific point you’re unsure about?
Which is the product ID? Is that the UPC code?
Ah, and here’s a question about multi-ending games in general. Ume-san pretty much acts somewhat strangely in most of the attempts I went at the game, so does this mean whichever plot I choose, Ume-san always covets this secret of his? Whatever it is, judging by the posts it’s like, um, very bad, and I hate to think that of the character because he seems like such a grandfather figure, as the protagonist has said.
If that’s the case, and I reach an Ayumi happy or best ending, do I punish Ume?

Ah, I know this is off the topic but I couldn’t find a section that talked about CG’s so I left it here. My main gripe about Tokimeki Check-in is the fact that the game doesn’t think the CG’s that don’t have sex in it are as good as those that do. I’ve come across the Ping-Pong, the Sit-down punishment with Makoto, the broken bath wall and well, numerous instances of those dreamy lens flare CG’s, but those are inaccessible from the menu, argh! I like those so much more than the sex scenes. I’ve played Divi-Dead and they left everything accessible to the gamer, being able to save the bitmap was a plus but I was satisfied with being able to access all the event CG’s.
Oh by the way, if someone could give me a hint on how to take in-game CG’s and save it in Windows, I would appreciate it. I’m primarily a Macintosh user but since Bishoujo games are being released on Windows, understandable since Windows has larger marketshare, I grudgingly play it on my Laptop.

On the back of the case there’s a four digit number in the lower corner, that’s the product ID.
For the most part, as far as I can remember at least, there are various points where Ume-san does act suspicious, and this is irregardless of some of your earlier choices. So, if you really don’t want to know any more, you can just think of it as an underlying subplot that you don’t want to persue. As for whether you eventually punish Ume-san, don’t want to give too much away do we?
It was said earlier that if you get all the best endings, you then get the capability to see all the CG’s, even the ones you mentioned. So if you get the best endings, and go back to the CG room, you suddenly find a whole bunch of other folders which includes the backgrounds and other cut scenes. Of course that means you do have to get all the best endings…
My personal gripe (I’ve mentioned it before in other posts) is that you can view the best endings over again. I mean, you can look at the CG’s but you can’t just play the endings themselves. Most of my save games are stopped on the very last day so I can watch the endings over again. Oh well.
Can’t help you with in-game snapshots though. I’m sure someone else can help with that.
