I’ll be travelling to the Phillipines in a few days and I’ve heard that porn is illegal there. Should I be worried about my laptop being searched at the airport or anything like that since I have a number of eroge installed on it?
If you’re that worried about it, it should be fairly trivial to uninstall the programs for the duration of your stay.
I honestly couldn’t tell you the first thing about Filipino law, other than to say that asking a forum like this has as good a chance of getting you dangerously inaccurate advice, as to get someone who lived in the Phillipines and knows the relevant laws off the top of his head.
I would leave behind your laptop if you can. Better safe than sorry while traveling in possibly Muslim dominated countries.

the Philippines isn’t Muslim, although it does contain some Muslims. From what I can tell they’re mostly just very tough on drug use and probably aren’t going to be looking at the files on your computer. Nonetheless porn IS illegal so exercise due caution- it would probably be best to just wipe the stuff securely from your laptop. If you can’t live without your eroge for the duration of the trip (understandable) look into full disk deniable encryption (TrueCrypt etc.)
