hat’s the scene when the girls see that the husband one of them is to marry, is the boy who was their childhood sweetheart.
The story sorta goes like this (spoiler free):
Over a decade ago, the player (who is the son of a wealthy family) meets a girl who played by the lake everyday. Her name was Chi. She was his only friend, and provided an escape from the terrible things that were going on in his house at the time. The pair grew closer and closer, eventually becoming that “first innocent love” romance stories gush over so much.
Sadly, events transpired where the girl had to go away. It left the player devastated.
Fast forward to the present.
The player still dreams of his adventures with Chi, but he has slowly begun to accept that its time to move on and stop wondering about a romance that will never happen. He has new friends - two of them girls who have more than a slight infatuation with him - and enjoys academics and sports. In short, a perfect lifestyle.
It’s then that the player discovers that he’s to have an arranged marriage with another powerful family. Understandably unhappy with this, he is then shown who his future wife is: Chi! But then, he sees there’s two of them. Twins!
The dilemma, is the player is very much in love with the little girl he meet so long ago, but he can’t tell which of them is the one he meet. To make matters even worst, they both have “Chi” in their names: Chihiro & Chihaya. Not only that, but they BOTH seem to remember making the “promise” with the player so many years ago.
Throw in that the other two girls aren’t too keen about losing their crush to twins, and you’ve got a rather interesting melodrama going on. Kinda cliche at times, but I haven’t been bored yet. I don’t think there’s a “harem” option, as the only girls willing to share, are the twins.
Not that there’s anything wrong with that, of course.
