I got to play Water Closet early this morning and well, it’s such a mix bag for me. On one hand, there was a rather humorous story that belied each of the five character’s story, but I think the subject was so far out of my league that I ended up being weirded out half of the time. Scat and fetish is not my forte. Certainly not your usual Bishoujo game, I’ll say. Where the game certainly excels is putting me in the shoes, or heels, of the protagonist. I felt their anxiety, their horror, their exhiliration (though admittedly and, from my perspective, sadly very little), and their pain. What was up with that W.C. Nicholson character? I was like, ‘where the heck did you come from, and what do you think you’re doing?’ when listening to his rant on toilet research. Is all, or even half of the golden knowledge he imparts upon me true? It certainly sounded very persuasive. Last guy I want to run into the street, I tell you, a superhuman with an overwhelming empathy for toilets and possesses hightened senses to perceive the desperate cry for help from sacred toilets everywhere! I would put Water Closet on my ‘To Buy’ list. Anyways, back to Tokimeki Check-In! Kyoka is really hard to get…
