Obviously I am the diehard Ever 17 fan around here. 
Divi-Dead was also a big favorite in my book but if you’re put off by horror/gore you may want to skip it (I’ve seen much worse, but there are some scary bits).
Heart de Roommate is a good one to play with your girlfriend, it’s very friendly and a lot like an anime, with some sex scenes included.
I’m a huge Ever 17 fan too, papillon Absolutely amazing story!
Heart de Roommate is probably the most funny of all the games I’ve played so far…It’s very enjoyable and entertaining…
By the way, what’s the meaning of Akimashi te Roommate??? 
I agree, Ever 17 was good, but trying to unlock everything was taxing.
I would be a die hard Ever 17 fan if I, like, played it. I’m playing Longest Journey (among (many) others) right now and that’s almost assuredly just as good (yes, I feel comfortable saying that even though I’ve never played Ever 17).
