What is the worst bishojo game that you have ever played

Having only played one game so far and having another three on order, I would like to keep from buying a bomb in the future. So what is the worst game any one has ever played and why.

Three Sisters Story
(the biggest sh!t ever made)
why?
-annoying music
-very short game
-only 4 endings (you kill Chie… Yuko kills you… Chie and Yuko get pregnant or you love Emi… this plot really lacks…)(of course without the several chances of being killed in Koichi’s building)
-poor plot (a guy that have everything… $10000 in his account?.. and is orphan… yeah yeah)
-bad quality CG images…

hope that this be useful…

Foster Games (Famous for Paradise Height series.) and most of the pre-1996 games where the genre isn’t as mature as today.

I’d have to say the worst one I played was Return to Paradise Heights. I haven’t played the first one (but if it’s anything like Return To I think I’ll pass).

The voices sounded like they were recorded inside a garbage can. They had an echo that was kind of distracting and the characters weren’t really that attractive. The game only had one path and that truly, completely, helped to make it one of the worst (bishoujo) games I’ve ever played.

Now then... all of that aside, you were asking about your own purchases and such for future consideration. Perhaps what you would want to do is give a bit of information about yourself, including anime that you enjoy as well as the one game you did not like and the three others you already ordered. For example... do you like romance? Sci Fi? Horror? Action? Comedy? Etc. Do you dislike any or all of those genres? Characters... what designs do you like? Things like that - something that is considered "bad" by one person may not be "bad" to you, right?

Kumiko sorry about the prior post hit the wrong button. I sorry if i gave you the wrong idea that I did not like the one game I have played. I did like it, it was Nocturnal Illusion. It has a good story, multi-endings, and good art work. The games that I have on order are Snow Drop, Season of the Sakura and Divi-Dead the last two of which I have heard good things said about on this BBS. This is why I asked for the opinion of the members of this board. There are always the few games that everyone will agrue on that were the best and others that were not.

As for the type of genres I like, I like many types, from fantasy (Lodress, Rayearth) to Sci Fi(Starblazer, Votoms, And Gundam) , romantic comedies(Ranma 1/2 the manga more then the anime and Tenchi) to comedies that do not that take themselves overly serious(Slayers and Tylor)
What I do not like in the adult genre is a story that is driven only by sex. I want a story that will hold my interest and have characters that I can like and feel for. I want the same in any game as well(I have one of the "Maiden of D" tapes from Kitty and what a waste that was, no story at all, only S/M sex.) I also want a multi-ending as with Illusion eleven endings that I found not like the four endings that The Three Sisters had according to Sandalphon. Background music is a good thing if it is not loud annoying or repetitive.
I hope this clears up of what you were asking.

Welcome, PJR!

A small comment of my own in Nocturnal Illusion. The game was OK, although a bit linear. What dissapointed me was the fact that, to get the multiple endings, you didn't have to do that much, just save before choosing the ending you want.

This is true on nine of the endings but two came about with the choise that Arisa had you make concerning her or Miwako. ****Spoiler Warning*****
the first is that Miwako turns you down and you leave the manor alone. The other is that Arisa is there for you to ask her to leave and does not, so to speak, give up the ghost after you make love to her. I am trying to see if there is a second ending with Maya where she turns you down by being a real jerk with her early in the game.

I’d have to say my least favorite games were probably the Paradise Heights games from Otaku.Linear Storylines and so-so CG. (Although I’d still like to be able to find the third game in Japanese just to find out who Keigo ends up with). I wouldn’t say I didn’t like it, I did, its just that with the setting and story it could have been so much more.

My only complaint about 3SS was that I wanted to end up with either Yuki (the excessively scorching and very giving older sister) or Risa (the cute bundle of energy). Emi was such a witch and very unlikable. I mean Emi only did it with Koichi after she found out what her dad did to his family and she felt guilty. Risa and Yuki do it with Koichi because they loved him. I mean who would you want to end up with? Certainly not Emi.

well Doug… i agree with you…
cuzz… i wanted to end with Yuki too!! or Kumi
also i wanted to know more about Chisato instead of that midnight rape-like sex scene with her… (oops! that was a spoiler? sorry)
and… what’s up with Sakura soft? many of the sex scenes in the games can be accesed via choosing to rape the girl (examples… the scenes with Akiko and the 4 girls that the nurse told you to “help”)
(BTW what’s up with that nurse–those kinds of helps… tsk tsk… x-change’s nurse Keiko remembered me about that nurse)

well, i guess that everyone will agree with me on that…
it was RINGOUT, plz, i dont EVEN considere IT as a BISHOUJO GAME, in fact, IT SHOULDNT BE CONSIDERATED EVEN A GAME…
no story, no difficult, no music, just be S&M , no good end, MAN, WHAT THE FUCK IS THAT? geez, i really got upset when my friend said that bought that game and said IT IS GREAT[he was being sarcastic]…

Hope this helps... Kumiko didn't mention any import stuff, she figured you were mainly talking about domestic products, right?

Thank you Kumiko for your suggestions. I have just now had a chance to reply.
I had looked at both End of Summer and Fencer of Minerva when they first came out and had to pass at the time. I will now look for them when I go to the store that I buy my anime in. As well as look for Buttobi!! CPU
I have the Chirality books and liked them very much. I also had to pass on the Midnight Panthers book and tapes but will look in to them. Anime first, books second.
As for games I had been looking at Maid's Story but could never feel any thing for Amy's Fantasies. I will try however Graduation(II) when I make my next order from Right Stuf.
I already have a order in on Snow Drop and was already looking to order Tokimeki Check-in as well as Little My Maid for a summer and Labor day week-end entertainment.

P.S. I should have title this "what was most disappointing games you ever played" and not the worst. There is no going back, once you click that "Enter" button.

Thank you for giving me only the domestic products, I do not understand Japanese. I have a tin ear when it comes to other languages. Barely pass high school Spanish, I remember only one phrase that will do me any good “No habla Espanole”.

well… sorry PJR… but it’s
"no hablo espanol"
and that’s cuzz the “√±”…
because it’s “espa√±ol” no “espanol”…

Well as I stated Ringout and Immoral Studies are at the top of my list of bad. I mean there are some that are not so good but I felt SOME redeeming value. The ones I named above just well, what can I say. Metal and Lace, Battle of the Robo-babes does circles around it…
oh well…
