I know it’s a commercial, but I thought it was funny…
Narg likes plastic. Narg likes kimono. Narg likes goth.
I wanna follow the red dots.

…and i am shocked , while shingo called it a masterpiece
Oh how I wish I was a nigh-invulnerable, Pokemon power immune, tentacle rape beast in the Pokemon world.
so who here watched the latest tv champion episode this week in japan? it was a gaijin otaku contest
me and peter just finished watching it on tv real time (shingo doesn’t have a tv at home ), and i personally find it to be VERY lukewarm compared to the japanese local otaku contest about 2 years ago unfortunately

Why do you make such pedolicious jailbait?
Your friend,

Narg
- Dawn (Hikari) from Pokemon in case you were wondering.

Triplicate Girl wins Narg’s award for lamest, yet kinkiest superhero power ever.
Did you know that Triplicate Girl (Triad) had twin power as Duo Damsel?
The home of a true Star Wars nerd:
http://www.stardestroyer.net/Empire/Essays
This guy makes REALLY REALISTIC essays on the whole nature of how things work in Star Wars, as well as proves how the Galactic Empire could kick the United Federation of Planet around like wet tissue paper.
But seriously… that’s like having the modern United States, attack a tribe of cavemen. The civilizations in Star Wars are thousands of years older than the Federation’s. The Tkon Empire is more of a fair matchup. I’m sure a Portal would kick a Jedi’s ass.

An INSANE Star Wars nerd. Very conveniently ignores anything that doesn’t fit in with the Empire is better than the Federation, Anakin’s Romance with Padme was better than Romeo’s with Juliet, The emotion in Revenge of the Sith (Qui Gon’s death vis-a-vis Gandalf’s for example) was more genuine than that In Fellowship of the Ring, etc.
LOLZ! You’re right! I didn’t really notice those parts, because I was sorta skimming through them so fast.
I think the whole argument is silly, because the two series are so different. Star TREK and Star WARS. One is about exploration, the other is about conflict - one has a Galaxy mostly explored with technology at a point of stagnation; the other has a Galaxy mostly unknown and making rapid breakthroughs. Neither fit against each other, because it’s like comparing apples and oranges.
EDIT
Damn… looks like I need a new hangout.

Not a religious debate… just pointing out that people made these things:
It would appear that Gardenia - one of the “gym leaders” in the Pokemon game/anime - should be in an eroge instead:

She’s most definitely into tentacles… errr… vines.
Absofucking hilarious:

I never bothered to play Galactic Civilization 2, but now I’m going to the store as soon as I’m finished with work.
I always felt that Dancing Mad was a better “final boss” song than One Winged Angel - but FF7 got that full chorus thing going for it.
Well someone made a seriously good attempt to make the FF6 final boss theme sound Latin:
http://www.ocremix.org/remix/OCR01582/#
It has a few issues, but shows how asskicking Kefka’s final stand would have been if it was a PS1 or PS2 title.
I love the 1:03 to 1:31 movement - the “child choir” things just rawks in horror movies - and I’m a sucker for it whenever I hear it.
