I’m thinking of getting either X-Change or Tokimeki Check-in next, reviews seem to suggest that Tokimeki is better, but popularity suggests X-Change is better (See ‘Top 3 PeaPri titles - 2001-11’ topic). Anyone got any suggestion to which I should go for? btw, Snow Drop was awsome!!! I loved the true ending!
I lean toward Tokimeki Check-In! because of the numerous personalities you get to interact with in the game, that and I totally fell in love with Ayumi, Makoto, and Mai. But heck, why not get both? They are both kick ass games.
Good idea, some Little My Maid postcards sounds good.
I do plan to get both X-Change and Tokimeki Check-in, they both seem like good games, I’m just trying to decide which one to get first.
X-Change had too much unavoidable rape and sexual harassment for my taste… Call me weird, but as a heterosexual guy, I don’t like to roleplay a girl who gets molested/raped by guys on the bus.
(Hmm… I hope that it’s possible to have lesbian sex with Asuka in X-Change 2. )

Well, I'm not sure which one I should recommend that you should buy... X-change is very funny, but, om the other hand, it has a little too short story, but the game is, as I've said, both very funny and interesting (or don't you agree that it's interesting to see how the world looks through the eyes of a woman )
Tokimeki Check-in, on the other hand, is very good, too. It has a VERY long story (you'll have to play it for quite a while to get all the endings and CG's), lots of interesting characters, lots of choices in what path to take and much more...
So, in the end... the game I'd recommend the most would be Tokimeki Check-in

Hmm, I don't think that'll be possilbe ^^;;. Asuka says cleary at the end of X-change (if you took her path, that's it), that she was devasted of the throught of him remaining a woman... In other words, Askua doesn't like the Female type of Takaya, and I don't think she'll like the throught in X-change 2 either .
But there'll be lesbian sex in X-change 2, that much has Kumiko confirmed, so if it's lesbian sex you want, you won't be dissappionted
Yeah, kumiko is right, when i received Snow Drop or X-change I had to pay half of the game for customs, not to forget other costs, luckily the games was a compensation. Now I get my games from a online store in my own country.
TurricaN,
X-Change is the simpler of the two games. If you were limiting yourself to just one game, I would recommend Tokimeki-Check in. More characters, more story, more replay value, overall more stuff.
If you like, TurricaN, there should be thoughts of both games up on GameFAQ now.
Mike
Thanks for your replies
Kumiko, I’m guessing that the reason that people are not mentioning Water Closet is because it wasn’t a part of my original question. I did already order Tokimeki and I will almost definitely order X-Change too in the future. Water Closet, from reading the description of the game, downloading the demo movies and reading the reviews, although sounding like a good game, does not sound like a game that would appeal to me. I could be wrong though, I think that to buy Water Closet, I would need a bit more convincing because I just don’t think that I would enjoy the game too much. We all have our own preference though I guess.
Kurutsu, what country are you in? When I recieved Snow Drop here in the UK, I didn’t have to pay anything to customs for it and it was delivered very fast too considering it came from the US.
Mike, thanks for that info, I will go and take a look at Game FAQ reviews now
Hey TurricaN et all,
Okay, I’ll admit it. I picked up Water Closet. Now, here are some very brief thoughts on it.
Well… if you like the sorts of humor of South Park, then WC would be right up your alley.
What I mean is, yes, WC does have some… very different material in it, but it also has some just comical situations too. A lot like the sorts of comedies that Woody Allen would write. I haven’t completed the game yet, but it does have it’s own little “potty” humor down to a T. Some of it’s gratuitously obvious, like Julyene’s name; but a lot of the humor is also very subtle.
Anyway, Kumiko is right. WC does have a lot of reply value, and is pretty funny too.
