Who is the Artist or Group that draws

Ah… that guy is Yamane Masahiro (¬éR¬ç¬™ -¬ù¬çG). I only know of him because my friend thinks he’s the next best thing to Jesus.

He’s a popular character designer, and has worked on a butt ton of “legit” projects as well.

On the eroge side, I think he works only for ZyX, so all his titles should be through them. Not sure on that though…

On a similar note, I’m REALLY surprised Godannar didn’t start as an eroge game. I mean, it has all the marks of it.

That artist is popular?! o_O
Do people really love characters with the same face but different hair?

I notice from the list on Anime News Network that there’s no mention of “character designer.” He seems to do a lot of monster designing and overall animation work.

I must agree on this one. From all of the ADV stuff I've purchased with Godannar promo stuff in it the anime is full of some outragious "fanservice."

Which, of course, isn't bad in my book.

Depends on the project.

For example, he can't be the character designer for say, Fatal Fury, because someone designed the character already.

However, he influences the look, hence why the anime characters don't look much like the ones from the SNK artbooks, and more like the ones in a ZyX title.

That list is also a bit US-centric, as he's done a lot more titles in the past: most of which (thankfully) will never see the light of day in the West.

Not everything anime is golden.

At least you can see their faces. In a lot of series, it's usually obstructed by a dozen squirming tentacles.

I guess this is the right topic to ask. I’ve noticed that the worst D.O. game ( a.k.a. Sensei 2 ) designer’s artwork looks similar to another mangaka’s. This mangaka is named to be Onikubo Hirohisa. Are they the same person, or come they from the same studio?

I did some looking on Onikubo Hirohisa (‹SŒE_‹v), and while I didn't find anything that outright stated he was the character designer, he is credited with the official fanbook for Sensei 2 (æ¶).

I'm going to go out on a limb and say he's the character designer, or at least the lead designer if he gets top billing on the fanbook (which contains production sketchs and whatnot). That's the NORMAL way it works... but again, I didn't find anything 100% solid. I've never actually seen Sensei until now, so my knowledge of it is totally novice.
