Ok, now, i live Metal, but i dont walk my life saying things like "Fuck life!" "Go death, go!" and i'm not going trough my life coutting my wirts (Crescendo, remember something? ).

Now, back to the point, i like bands more like Stratovarius, Rhapsody, Sonata Arctica, Dream Theater, Nightwish, etc...
More on the heavy side, Iron Savior, Iron fire... not too many names come to my mind right now...

AND, maybe i should tell you, that i already made a tread about the same thing and most of them said things like "Anime OSTs" or "Game OSTs" or things like that (and "By that" i mean J-music)

Dream Theater is alright (though really technically good at least imo) and Nightwish is cool too

Thread Rule 1- don’t make crappy posts like I just did!

Rule 2- Give names of artists and stuff and not just groupings

Hell will descend upon you if you break one of these

Has anyone heard of the Sex Machineguns? I heard they were a popular Japanese metal band. Are they any good?

I like music ... Play a few bars and sing a bit so I can see if I like it.
I tend to like B-Game or anime music but you never see it on LP's. Mind you you can get sound tracks for anime but often that is not the same. Mind you I belive music should please the soul so that limits you to a small % of todays music.

PS Any Idea if can still get this CD
and where in Canada?
Pure Blue / Love Forever
Avex Records AVCA-14151
Released 2001.06.20 1260 yen

You can try JPOPHelp. They also carry bootlegs CDs/DVDs, so Caveat Emptor. If you are planning to order something else in addition of this CD, you might consider YesAsia as they offer free shipping for orders >= US$39.00 (but you might end up paying custom...)

go to http://www.cdjapan.co.jp instead, it’s much cheaper. I like some anime soundtracks too, but I mostly get it for singers that you can’t get cds here

Grumble Grumble ... where the heck do you find payment options. Jpophelp is in Canada so I think I will go with them even if it a little more. Thanks.
PS Now that I know where to get the music, I'll have to look at all the 'japanese trailers' on my DVD's for music promo's

um, not really satanic, but I like heavy metal as well. slayer, opeth, lamb of god, and many others that I don’t feel like naming in my drunken stupor.

Actually, it might not end up cheaper, as CDJapan shipping charges offset the price difference. Also, EMS has it's own share of problems if are living in Canada (for an example, check here).

I guess you have found out by now, but if you haven't, it is here. Just in case, the listed prices are in US dollars not Canadian!

Well, when you usually shop "locally" in places like Amazon.ca, DVD Box Office or C&L Internet Club, where all the prices are in CDN $, sometimes you just forget about currency exchange...

local is the super-market. Everything else is world wide via the internet. The right stuf inc and J-list is where I do most of my shopping.
