Windows 64 Bit

um… #1 I don’t recall that option baing available in any BIOS (especially if you bought a brand name computer), #2 why would you want to turn off your (technically speaking) second CPU when it is only causing a few games problems?

Hey Guys just a minor Vista update… until nVidia, ATI, and Creative Labs have drivers that are optimized for Vista, performance / Compatibility issues will be a problem.

  1. To not have to deactivate it every time it is causing problems.
  2. Because the performance gain isn’t significant enough.

depending on what else you use your computer for … there are alot of people that will disagree with you. the fact that you may not notice a difference depends how you use your computer.

I don’t think it matters to home users like us.

I do it for selective programs. Otherwise I do some stuff that takes a severe performance hit for not having a second processor.
