Since my current PC doesn’t support UEFI, and I’m not upgrading anything for at least another year or 2,
I’m not going to be able to make my usual test thread, like I have done every other time Windows has updated with a new version.
So those of you who have it, will have to take up the mantle.
UEFI is only needed for secure boot, and isn’t required for windows 8 unlike the processor requirements which would be in any processor made in at least the past decade.
If your still not convinced, then I’ll take start on the testing duties once I have my laptop upgraded to windows 8
Go for it Demonix. I’m still on the fence about upgrading to 8, and the Upgrade advisor was like you need UEFI, SecureBoot and all that.
