It could also be what I feared earlier, they consider this to be a "running gag" of the series, if running gag is the right way to say it. Whatever it is, they feel it has to be in each game to define each game, not that him turning into a female each time doesn't sort of define each game by itself.

I hope NOT. If there's a "new" XC series (the YinYan game(s)), then I do hope that the "Rape bus" will have made it's last appearence in XC3. And, no, I don't want to see it replaced by "The rape train", the "rape taxi" or WHATEVER they might come up with for the YinYang series.. [img]http://princess.cybrmall.net/ubb/mad.gif[/img]

Well, you have to remember that they’re releasing games aimed at the the Japanese populous, not us. And you have to take into consideration that maybe it’s a possibility that one of the reasons why the X-Changes series does so well is partially because of the rape bus. And if that’s true, then you guys are screwed.

Maybe they did that this time, left it in but have the option to skip it. So when the time comes your choices are something like “Wait for next bus” and “Don’t make the same mistake for a third time, you know what bus it will end up being so walk instead”. Okay not said that way but same idea.

I still say start with his daughter or something and have her face the opposite problem, yeah kind of cheesy you just keep the same general idea with new characters but hey that is sort of what they might be doing anyway right?

Yeah, but there is only ONE scene where she gets raped on the bus this time. The Rape Bus is pretty much a running gag of the XC series.

"Running gag" is right, but not in the usual sense; this time they're being literal.

Dude, if you want pics of this game, why simply not try to find them yourself? There's a batch of preview pictures over at both Getchu.com, the japanese Gamelex GS and Crow'ds homepage itself and neither that too hard to find.

i don't think this would have the same appeal as the original XChange premise because, although most of us are interpreting the games from the perspective of Western society, there is a large enough market in Japan. i do believe Crowd is continuing the XChange franchise primarily for the Japanese market.

The genital areas are pixellated in Japanese Bishojo games.

okay. i suspected as much given the laws in Japan. the boxset is rather expensive and i'm debating whether the purchase is worthwhile. i did notice, however, that none of the XChange games can be purchased from the Japanese branch of Amazon.com where the destination/billing address is outside of Japan.

I think the comment Unicorn made in another thread applies, if you want this images, buy the game when it is translated.

Or if that does not suit you search the web, you might find what you are looking for with a little bit of searching and please no comment about “this forum”, as I think you have your answer now twice in two threads.

[edit] You might be surprised but pictures in this case are not considered spoilers since somewhere someone probably has a ton on their fan site for the Japanese language verison. Also though a picture might tell a thousand words, it can be misleading and not give away the plot.
