Your favorite Bishoujo game character designer?

Akazaki Yasuma (¬Ç ¬Ç¬©¬Ç’¬Ç¬´¬Ç√¢¬Ç¬∑¬Ç√ú), character designer of the XChange series is my favorite.

Mogudan, character designer of Brave Soul and Scrapped Princess, is a close second.

Mogudan all the way.

My absolute favorites are:

CARNELIAN, who did Yami to Boushi to Hon no Tabibito and Kao no Nai Tsuki, among other things

and

Watanabe Akio u"n•Ó–¾•vv, also known as Poyoyon Rokku u‚Û‚æ‚æ‚ñE‚ë‚Á‚v, who did Popotan.

I also like Kananu‚©‚È‚ñv and Koge-DonbouƒRƒQ‚Ç‚ñ‚ځv, who did Galaxy Angel and Princess Concerto respectively. Might not be known as well around here as the other two, though, since they only do non-H work.

misato mitsumi

I have two favorite artists: Kozue Yamamoto (Studio E-Go! games) and that one from Terios (don’t know his/her name, thought ^^’).

Not really a character designer, but Azasuke is probly one of my favorite artists ever, he always uses the coolest faces.

Well my favorite artist is Satoshi Urushihara. Though he’s only done designs for one actual B-game that I know of: “Next King” which was only on the Saturn and is more of a “dating board-game” then anything else.

I like his artwork too, but not his nudes; I don't like the way he draws the private areas. His work in RPG's like Langrisser and Growlanser is pretty neat though.

Hmm, just an idea, but how about people include samples with their recommendations? I think that would liven this thread up a bit.

Oyari Ashito - Nocchi, who did Quartett!, Episode Of Clovers, Kita-he and soon Romanesque

(littlewitch links not so worksafe)

I like Internal Server Errors, and double links.

If you’d scroll down a bit you’d notice that the picture still loads. And if you clicked on it you’d realize that the double link still works.

Oh, so those were intended? Well, I did see the pictures then. However, the second and third links have the same ones.

Strange…all the links worked as they were supposed to when I posted them, including the double link. I’ll fix the last one now.

Edit: Workingdesigns’s site seems to be down at the moment. In my experience it seems to go on and off-line sporadically.

The ZyX chara designer? That'd be Keiji Mutoh.

Mamoru Yokota? (We're talking aboutTerios, right?)

My personal favorites are Satoshi Urushihara and Takehiro Kimura, though I am occasionally partial to the aforementioned Yokota and Mutoh designs. Another two designers I sometimes favor are MinMei and Arisa Aikawa (both associated with Flyingshine).

I’d second the votes for Mogudan and Mamoru Yokota (if that’s the Terios guy people were talking about earlier). Oh, and Shiwasu no Okina, who I’m pretty sure did at least one or two games.

I’d also like to mention the person (I think she was a woman) who did the character designs for Crescendo, which I thought were a very nice change of pace for the English market, although since I’ve never seen her(?) work anywhere else I’m hard-pressed to call her a “favourite”. I think I found her website once but I lost the link before I could really explore it, it’s a shame. I can’t recall her name right now either.

Well, I’m not really sure if Mogudan counts since, he’s only done 1 bishoujo game (that I’m aware of), but I absolutely love his art, so definitely him.

I also like Masahiro Yamane (most people don’t like the ZYX char. designs, but I do!)

Whats the name of the person who did Bible Black, etc.? I like most of Active’s character designs too.

Oh, cool, I wonder what it was?

Also, is it me, or has his webpage disappeared recently?
