Wow, I’m surprised I’d never think to actually see recommendations for the series Elfen Lied. But I guess that’s what the world is coming to. Though I’m not one to talk as I’ve just completed my very first fanfic of the series, (a damn bloody one as well, along with it’s niceities.)
Elfen Lied just has a special little something that draws even my attention I guess, (and it’s not because of it’s nudity, oh no, I wish it were though)
Okay, I seem to have been quite slow on the uptake here. Um, let’s see I saw sex friend mentioned up there, and I’ve seen (and own) that. Not too much on story line, but still is very worth it (personally speaking that is, though it isn’t for those who need storyline. There is no real conflict or resolution in the show, just an ending)
Okay now I know I’m really far behind on this topic. I’ll put in my addition two cents worth and explain that I like many long series, simply because it gives me a reason to continue on. But some series just push the long part to the extreme when all they do is extend and extend with no real story. I like knowing the details of things yes, but when the details override the story, then forget it.
If you want to discuss about new anime series-
Claymore- it is really great.
Nagasarete Airantou- Harem!!! Love Hina meets Gilligan’s Island!!! The 14 years old boy is very lucky that he gets many young girls in single lost island.
Hayate the Combat Butler- it is very good. I guess you might read Viz manga.
Lucky Star- it has female twin. It is really good.
Romeo ~ Juliet- it is really good. I just watched only two episodes.
Lovely Complex- comedy and drama. It is really good. Tall girl x short boy
Princess Resurrection- interesting, it is very good. It reminds of 3x3 Eyes.

BECK: Mongolian Chop Squad: this anime is about Japanese rock band(s). Very good anime. Sigh You have to battle many times to reach success… And you need mainly luck!!!
Genshiken or The Society for the Study of Modern Visual Culture: this anime is about “otakus”. I got many interesting informations by watching this anime. Very good.
Rec: this anime is about “seiyū”. Our heroine is very cute girl and her voice is wonderful. I’m obsessed with the opening theme song… “Cheer~Makka na kimochi~”… Sigh You have to battle many times to reach success… And you need mainly luck!!!
