Probably Mushitsukai since it’s pretty short compared to the other Black Cyc games I’ve played.
Only Yami no Koe and Mushi-Tsukai would be short enough, I think. Extravaganza, Gore Screaming Show, Mugen Kairou, Gun-Katana etc. would be severely damaged by compressing them into such a short series.
You might be able to make a 3 part OVA out of each timeline for Extravaganza, but that means nine episodes total so it probably wouldn’t happen. For Gun Katana an OVA could be made out of the extra disc.
The only other Black Cyc game that could be made into an OVA would be Before Dawn Daybreak.
I’d agree with Lancer-X. Yami no Koe would work well as the games are more driven by character interactions (most of which involve sex) rather than an overall story. Mushi Tsukai’s plot is short enough to be adapted too and the game only has one true ending, so that would work too. Anything else would be a complete butchering of the original, and the extra disc for Gun Katana probably wouldn’t work very well out of context.
I guess more importantly, even if a Black Cyc eroge was made into a 3 part OVA, from the current prices, that would come in at three 30 minute episodes, each of which would cost 7140 yen, so 21420 yen in total, which is well over the cost of two full price eroges (granted, you wouldn’t end up paying quite that much with the discounts that stores offer, but the same goes for eroges too). I can’t even see most devoted fans of a given eroge being willing to pay that much for an inferior adaptation of the original, when you could buy other good ??/?? eroges instead.

Is there a particular reason you chose a 3 part OVA? I mean look at Bible black The original game got a 6 episode OVA plus a six episode sequel that was entirely original. Thats 12 episodes. Plenty of time for an average eroge ne?
The real danger is what ignosco mentioned. they would probably pick one route and fail horribly at integrating bits of others. I dont know why they couldnt just make an ova for every route though. The industry has proven it has no problems redoing things if it could make more money [Evangelion] .
Also awesome animation is a must.
Most of the eroge to anime I’ve seen, usually go for a 3 part OVA thing. Not sure if that’s a standard or whatnot… but 3 seems to be the magic number. The other appears to be just 2 episodes. Higher than that, seems kinda iffy.
At least for stuff I watch. 
Oddly enough most of the anime adaptations from Black Lilith (and Lilith Mist) go for more than three episodes.
I guess the advantage LiLiTH has when adapting their works, is that the original eroges are short enough to fit into a small number of episodes without many significant omissions. If they’re able to make something that’s very faithful to the original, and will include all of the scenes that fans might want to be animated, they’d probably be more willing to buy something like that, compared to a several episode adaptation of any full-length eroge, which would probably only contain 20-30% of the original work.
Got my copy of Cthulhu today with the special calendar. Haven’t started the game yet, but I do have one thing to say about the calendar…why isn’t MinDead Blood featured in this

Just started playing and I think Reichi’s an interesting protagonist so far. Anyway, one thing I noticed right away is that his sister, Koinu, speaks differently than the other characters. Different enough that a hiragana thing was put above to show what she’s saying means. What kind of speach pattern is this as I haven’t encountered it before in any VN I can remember?
Isn’t it just Osaka-ben? I admit I didn’t really pay much attention…
If you say so. Since I’m trying to learn the language I’m trying to know how to recognize speech patterns and such.
In any case this game really is off to a good start. A quicker start than GSS. Speaking of which, that girl with the fox mask isn’t who I think is it?

I don’t really get why they had to put in that first “playthrough”. I mean, the scene with the dog telling you about the need to clear all the routes was funny, but I still think they would have gone better without it. They could have made you choose whether to go on the “light side” or the “dark side” right from the beginning (by the way, I just started my “dark side” first playthrough, and it looks like it will be fun :twisted: ).
The impression so far is good. I only fear they put too much stuff inside from the beginning (I mean, what’s about the hero’s imouto transforming into a giant goddess of destruction :? ). And the ero so far is bad. Really bad. I hope that’s just because the first part is only a prologue, since I expect much more better stuff from Black Cyc.
I’m about 50% done with this game, and I’m just about ready to put it on the “this actually sucks, but I wish it didn’t” list.
It’s the same story routes over and over again, with just a little minor things changed here and there. Basically I’m replaying 90% of the plot, for a 10% change? That’s third rate… I [u]know[/u] BCyc can do better than this, because they’ve proven to be masters of Platinum Grade Ero.
Cthulhu ain’t shaping up to be Platinum Grade Ero. I’m almost tempted to claim, that Before Dawn Daybreak is superior. 
Maybe the other half is the good stuff… I’m hoping it is…

On the other hand, I’m happy some of the music turned out great… although I think it’s too obvious which tracks were worked on by New Wave of Death Neko Metal and which weren’t. Songs are either 10’s or 0’s… not much middle ground.
Maybe you should get Subarashiki Hibi then! It should be dark enough and twin-ish enough to meet your requirements =P
I started this game with expecting to enjoy it, and so far it’s not so bad, but now I’m getting worried…just how long is this normal scenario? I figured this would just be a prologue, but there’s no end to it in sight. Is this route as long as any of the game heroine’s routes are supposed to be or longer?
Hmm… don’t let my rant taint your opinion of the game… maybe it’s just me. :o
However the core scenario isn’t all that long for a BCyc title. It’s pretty short. Also the scenario’s are basically the same, with only a “this happened instead” kind of change in them… so the conclusion is different, but the events leading up to that change are the same. So it’s like 70% to 90% of the story never changes, no matter which route you pick.
Also not all the girls are screwed, which is a huge oversight. In a dark tentacle eroge, all women are violated: no exceptions (BCyc just adds that all shota are violated too).
Idaknow… it’s just that the game seems rushed to me. Like they finished the first half, then hit a deadline, and threw the endings in there without a second half.

Still only completed 50% though… so maybe I’m just getting all the bad routes.
