My understanding is that B-Eye has an agreement that retains the distribution and logistics, because it’s already there, but Cyc is under new financial management. I’ll see if I can find the source info again.
Gokuin no Sentou has a getchu page, with story, character profiles and CGs, before the official site even opened. This looks quite different to what I expected… (edit: although I still don’t think it’ll be a particularly good eroge. The basic plot setup seems incredibly convenient, and I’m not sure if the game will be able to offer a satisfactory explanation for the random appearance of this tower/building/skyscraper/whatever they decide to call it.)
So from the looks of it, this is going to be Black Cyc’s take on Quarantine:
I have not played Inunaki, but the postings on 2chan state it has some minor guro and gangbang bakkukke.
Others might find it more important to know that the lead girl, Aeka, is a trap.
Apparently it’s also short, hard to clear and not very good.
This was already to be a given from the start though. 
The next Black Cyc game is subtitled “Tower of Inferno”? Now Black Cyc’s ripping off movie titles…remember when Black Cyc used to make good games? Yeah, those were good times 
Also checked out a walkthrough for Inunaki and the first route is one where you have no choices and have to read the route through to the end before you can access the other routes. Just like Cthulhu… :evil:

Tower of Inferno has a nice OP movie. I Pray is very good: especially considering it’s not official Neko Metal.
I have to admit, the premise for Tower sounds great: Satanic possessed building, twisting everyone trapped inside into sexual deviants (if they weren’t already of course). It fits the old BCyc style. Has potential to be a good “escape the building” horror story, while discovering (stopping? joining?) the root cause of the demonic activity. Character designs for the girls interest me (guys have horrible clothes; but that’s a norm for BCyc).

But it’s BCyc… they aren’t trustworthy anymore… so I’m just gonna wait and see. No point in getting over worked for it.

Yeah; just in general I’d be worried. Notice how Black Cyc seems to have offloaded every game except Inunaki onto DL sales sites? Yami no Koe etc. has been up for a while, but MDB Complete Edition, Gun-Katana, Extravaganza, Gore Screaming Show, Cthulhu, Great Hunting and even things like the Full Metal Box and Cyc Members only things like Mugen Kairou 1.5 and Ageha. Most eroge companies wait a while before doing that (or they offload them to DMM a bit earlier first) so to me this strongly hints of desperation. Purse strings getting a little tight?

Anyways, having been tricked to buy it this morning at… oh… let’s say 10AM, and then I got to my room to play it at noon: got 100% clear in about 5 hours.

Basically uncreative story. Half assed Darkside sexfest. You’re this Trustworthy Guy¬ô the survivor girls run into, and pretty much become their bodyguard as you try to escape together. Satanic statues are scattered about, and you gotta break them in a specific order to unlock their Demon Rape Power¬ô to become a savior. Yea… we know how that goes. :roll: Can’t trust all the girls you run into: some are just out to get ya killed (after some sex of course). Only the OL, part timer, and fortuneteller are on your side… though on that last girl mentioned, she has a bit of her own agenda going on. The other two are innocents.
So yadda, yadda, yadda… make a bad move, the girls get ganged banged, and you get to watch before you’re killed. Yawn… like we haven’t seen that before. True end is pretty obvious, and not even worth hiding in a spoiler tag: become the new vessel of some Satan-Demon-Wannabe and get yourself a harem while you’re at it.
So yea. Waste of money. Do not want. Just pass. Unless you want a $80 plastic beer coaster just like mine. Wheeeee! :roll:
So Black Cyc made another sucky game. Wish I could say I was suprised. Money for better games saved.
Anyway, can’t help but feel this applies to the game:
Strictly speaking I’d rather play a bad game for 5 hours rather than 15, but for 9240 yen, that’s really a disgrace.
Took me awhile to put my finger on it, but Gokuin no Sentou is just SPEED’s Kansen with a demon possession inclination, instead of it being a virus infection. Everyone in the building - except for the player and the three girls - are driven to screwing themselves to insanity. Just like Kansen there’s this urgency, because the longer you take, the more likely you’ll get caught. The only difference in this game, is that the player is already infected… or rather everyone in the building is doomed to becoming a sex addict, but the player and the lead girls are not showing the symptoms yet. Just like Kansen, you just can’t walk out the door, because the other “infected” are all over the place.
So it’s really an inferior Kansen with new paint. :roll:
Also unlike the quality BCyc titles of old, there’s no serious effort or underlying plot to why the demonic invasion is happening. It’s just your ever cliche, someone’s playing with fire and getting way over their head deal. I assume someone at BCyc, has been playing Warhammer… (it’s all like something Slaanesh would approve of).

Oh yea… while the game isn’t region locked, the first thing that pops up when starting the game is this warning. Though seriously… if they started locking out their site and games, no one is missing anything in their current sorry ass state.

Nevermind on the rant about there being no good ending. Just unlocked it… odd that I got 100% complete, even with it hidden. Ah well… still sucks…
I already suspected this game was ‘Kansen-inspired’, and because loved the Kansen series I had hopes…
