Dokusen (Possession)

By the way, Kumi-chan… any news from Dave E, or is he still far too busy??

Kumiko, To bad about Dave’s laptop. It looked like a good one from what I saw at BAAF. By the way do you know or can you find out where the wallpaper he had on it was from? It had what appeared to be a girl dressed like a bride. I never got around to asking him wher it was from.

Aww, that's bad... That means that we probaly won't hear anything new about Douksen for quite a while

Anyway, I wish him good luck in dealing with the litte gremlins .

By the way... are there anyone at Peach Princess who eats veg-lasagne??? (yeah, it's an odd question, but please answer it).

I see, that explains the old bill I found in my latest order from PeaPri... someone must've misstaken my package for a trash can

By the way, can someone hit up all the Macross, BGC, Gundam, and Orguss fans for Critical Point?

Well, I haven't posted the link to the poll on some of the places where I've intended to post them... When I do, I think there'll be some more votes for it .

Ok... Well, it's quite OK, since it's also important to work on the games you're currently trying to release .

By the way, Kumi-chan, do you mind if I ask you two non-topic questions? The questions are:

First, do you speak Japanese? If you do, then I wonder if you know what the translation of the title of an anime I saw some weeks ago would be in English?... the title was "Kaze wo mita Shounen", if I remember correctly.

Second, do you know someplace where I'd be able to order Japnese DVD's? I'm right now searching for the DVD of a japanese movie I saw some weeks ago (the title of that movie was "Avalon").

I know this question was meant for Kumiko-san, but have you checked CDJapan?

Hmm, didn't know about CDjapan before, but I thank you for directing me to this smorgasbord If their DVD's works for Region 2, then it should be no problem for me...

Ok, here's the link again... Don't forget it, and tell everyone you know who support Bishoujo games about the link!

By the way, Kumi-chan, any news from Dave E about Dokusen yet? Or as he still not been able to get back to the point where he was before the trouble with his computer?

Hmm, seems like there’s very many places in Dokusen where you can train the girls, by the way… At school, in a swimming pool, at home, in some forest and many more places, it seems…

Oh, and I do have some off-topic questions as well… first, what are the meters in Slave Bazaar? and second, are you doing something weird with your homepage and the forum right now? Today the pages of Peach Princess seems to upload about 10 times slower than they usually does… weird.

Ok... Well, whatever the problem was, it seems to be gone now.

quote:
The meters for Dokusen are listed elsewhere in this thread, actually.

Huh? I asked for the meters in Slave Bazaar, not the meters in dokusen ^^;; I may have asked you that question before, but I'm not sure...

quote:
Dave E FINALLY unlocked the girls' paths! He's playing Tsumugi-chan (naturally) - she's really just too sweet!

REALLY!? That's great! But... wait a minute! you said "playing"!? By that do you mean that he succeeded in unlocking the girl's paths just recently and therefore he hasn't been able to play their path very much yet?

quote:
By the way, the interface is customized for each character you play. For example, if you play Kaoru, the interface becomes very techie, with the calendar popup being a digital planner. Tsumugi-chan's interface is all pink and little puppy dogs.

Umm... also, another very cute point. If you didn't notice, Tsumugi's family name is "Inuyama", which means literally "Dog Mountain". Well... her nickname at school is "Wan-Wan", which means "Bow-Wow". It's not insulting, though... it's just a very cute nickname that all the girls call her.

Sounds like Tsumugi's really cute, judging from what you've been telling us . Hmm, you once said that you thought that Mayu-chan were too cute, that when her character were created, they must have emptied the whole "jar" of "cuteness" into her character when they created her... is it the same with Tsumugi-chan?

quote:
Oh-! By the way, you always begin training at school - but from there, you choose what type of training to do. The training also progresses in different directions. For example, Tsumugi-chan is an announcer for the PA system, evidently. If you are very nice to her and she enjoys what she is doing, you'll get to train her at cosplay... but if you abuse her, you can take her to the PA booth and screw her with the mike on so that the entire school can hear her orgasming.

Sounds nasty But also very yummy ... Hmm... cosplay, lots of different ways to train... The more you tells us about Douksen, the more I want to see it at the english market . Hmm, do you have a similar choice like that when it comes to the part where Yukino-chan cosplay in a china dress, as you told us about before? and, one more thing... does anyone else in dokusen (classmates and others) know about the contest between you and Kaoru, or is it a well-kept secret between you, Kaoru, Tsumugi-chan and Yukino-chan?

quote:

Hmm, Ok. Then I'll just wait until he've investigated the girl's paths and are ready to give us more info

quote:
Questions about Slave Bazaar should go under that topic, don't you think?

Ok, posted it there alreday. gomen, Kumi-chan -_-;

quote:
No one else exactly knows about the contest... however, there are times when other classmates or teachers might suspect that something is wrong. For example, if you have a vibrating egg or rod stuck up the girl's pussy while she's in class or doing PE, a classmate might wonder why she's moaning softly and ask what's wrong. Or, if you have her masturbate while she's sitting in class, a teacher might ask her if she needs to go to the bathroom. That sort of thing...

Ok, I see . hmm... Is it a part of the training to make the girls enjoy to do "it" in public too, as it would seem from what you just said?

Well, during out lives, we believe in many things… but when we discover that some of the things we’ve believed in with all our hearts are nothing but illusions or imagnations, we’re not very happy about it… and some people may be crushed by discovering such things… Hmm… how does Yukino-chan find out about it? Does she one day discover Kyouichi and Tsumugi-chan when they’re "training? Or does she hear that from Kaoru? Or is this simply “discovered” in the argument between Yukino-chan and Kyouichi you metioned before, or does that argument take place before she discovers about him training Tsumugi-chan? And before that, does she actually thinks that Kyouichi is the “Perfect One”, or something like that? (sounds kind of naive to me,but…).

But I find it a little hard to believe that the voice actors in dokusen can be so skillfull that they actually sounds like they’re having orgasms (yeah, I know, voice actors are very skilled, but that’s almost going a little to far ^^ .

I trust you... butit will still be hard for me tobelive it until I've ssen it with my own eyes (or rather, my own ears )

quote:
Yukino-chan views Kyouichi as her Prince... they've known each other a long time (childhood friends and such.) As a comparison, imagine if Kyoka in Snow Drop discovered Minoru training Keika to be a sex slave...

Well, haven't played snow Drop yet (still busy buying Cristmas presents, so for the time being, i'll have to wait until i'm doine buying the cristmas presents... Then we'll see if I still can afford it (urg). But most likely, I wont be able to order neither Snow Drop nor Critical Point until the day after Cristmas . bu to go back to the subject... as I said, I haven't played Snow Drop yet, but... I know about the trust between childhood friends. Á childhood friend is one who is very close to you, almost as close as a family member, since you've known each other for very long, you know many of each others secrets and so on... so a childhood friend would naturaly be shocked if he/she disovered something about the person he/she's a childhood friend with that he/she hadn't discovered before...
So Yukino-chans reaction of seening this is quite normal, then; She thought that she knew Kyouichi very well and now, when she discovers this new side of him, she's more than shocked....

quote:
Yukino-chan and Kaoru discover Kyouichi training Tsumugi when she's tied up outside the school... of course, Yukino-chan pretty much goes hysterical, screaming that she didn't see anything when Kaoru presses her about it.
The game storyline delves into both the light and dark sides of human behavior and emotions, for all the characters.

Hmm, so she tries to lie to herself about the whole thing after she've seen Kyouichi training Tsumugi-chan? This sounds innded very much like a good story... "Where there's light, there's darkness" *sigh*

Are you at PeaPri currently debatting if you should ask Ruf about Dokusen, if I might ask??

Some more things, by the way… What’s the name of the high school the characters are going to? and, you sill hasn’t told us what “power” you have in the game when you’re playing as one of the girls… Is it just that when you’re playing one of the girls, you can choose how to react to some things, but nothing else?

Well, haven't been able to post it at any "adult" forums yet, since i've been busy nowadays (Hey, students can be very busy too!), but then again, I'd like it too if other people here at the forum posted the link to my poll here and there at the net in order to catch some votes too...

[This message has been edited by Spectator Beholder (edited 12-15-2001).]

Ahh, tomorow I’m free of school for three weeks! .

And during those three weeks, I’ll be spamming the whole web with the liks to the poll of Dokusen . Placed it out at a adult forum yesterday, and it seems like I got some votes fromt he people there… Funny, by the way, they throught that I were Japanese (I am not, of course, but it’s funny when people think that you are )

[This message has been edited by Spectator Beholder (edited 12-19-2001).]

Hey, one thing, Kumi-chan… at G-Collections, Dokusen is in their stock, it seems, but… They’ve placed it in the ADV-category, not the SIM-category… why this? On the other hand, Utsukushi Hime have been placed in their SIM-category, but why hasn’t Dokusen been placed in that category, since it’s SIM?

quote:
Originally posted by Kumiko Kamiyama:
Actually, both those games are SIM+ADV. So is Kairaku, the title that launched the Rouge label in Jan. Utsukushi Hime came out in May, and Dokusen in June. All of them are sex slave training sims plus ADVs... but of the three, Dokusen seems to be the best, overall. Also, a slight correction to the info on G-Collections' site - Yukino's family name is not Kodori. It's Takanashi.

Hmm, ok . But I still think that Dokusen should be placed in the SIM category... hmm, maybe I should drop them a mail about that?

quote:

Ummm... Kumiko also wants to mention that the most popular girl in school is probably closer to Yukino, as far as simply looks and brains are concerned. Tsumugi-chan is popular because she's the very cutest girl... so, that's rather a different kind of popularity. Perhaps it might be good to say that Yukino is probably idolized most by the other girls while Tsumugi might be idolized more by the guys... that might be a good general way of thinking about the stereotypes.

Ok, thanks for that info ^__^. Hmm, but isn't Yukino popular among the girls in some way, too? As you said, she's the most beautiful of the two girls, so shouldn't she have some "fans" among the guys on the school too?

*owww*... having a rather terrible headache right now . could anyone be so kind and hand me a painkiller ?

quote:
Originally posted by Kumiko Kamiyama:
Oh, surely Yukino is noticed by guys - but she isn't as approachable as Tsumugi. These are loose stereotypes, of course - it's a sim so it isn't as story-intensive as a pure visual novel adventure game, but the story and characterizations are well done.

You could drop them an email... Dokusen is SIM+ADV, though. It's both. You have changes in the storylines because of decisions you make in the adventure part of it, and you have changes based on the simulation part of it. It's a combination.

By the way, getting some endings and then replaying also seems to impact paths, perhaps - it's getting confusing with all the different aspects. Dave E has two endings he hasn't gotten... he might not ever get them unless we actually do the title.

It's a really good game, though... not only quality, but lots of playablity, so it's certainly worth anyone's money as far as gameplay and value is concerned.

Well, it would certainly get my money if it got out at the market, even if you had to sell it for the original price

Well, then I'll ask them to put it in the SIM+ADV category instead, if they have time to do so... but, what about Utsukushi Hime, if I may ask? Is that also a SIM+ADV, or is it a "truly pure" sim?
