Dokusen (Possession)

Dave E asid that, too . Hmm, he also told me that some things in Dokusen - like the meters - were in english... so if you decided to do this title and leave the mosaics, then it'd not take as much work, time and money as it usually does to get it out, since some things already's in english, right?

Well, I hope he'll be able to get the two endings! . By the way, yesterday the poll for Dokusen reached 100 votes!!!
I know that we still needs more votes, but it's good that the poll has reached as far as 100 votes anyway

We can't have this slipping, now can we?

Looks like Dave E just cannot get those last two endings... devilish game, especially when you can't read the dialogue due to font problems...

Sounds kind of tricky ^^;. But, on the other hand, Dave E haven't had that much time to play them either, right ^^;;;

By the way, I managed to find a page with the Japanese CD package cover (I think) for Dokusen. Looks very good, don’t you think

Aww, that's a pity, since the picture's really great (that's what I think at least )

By the way, I'd also recommend a site I just recently found: http://comike.entame.net/game/index.html
It's a japanese bishoujo game internet shop, but I don't think they sell outside Japan (and we already have G-collections and Himeya for that)... they've got a HUGE amount of bishoujo games, I'll tell you... probably around a few thousands O_O, and every game is placed in different categories... Love sims, Training sims, "insult" games and about ten more categories... when I see this, I almost feel like weeping, since nearly all those games are "denied" to most of us who live outside Japan...

Oh, and if you have trouble with the language or finding a specific company, you can always use the famous altavista translator: http://world.altavista.com/ . It doesn't translate very well, of course, but by using this, you'll get a rough idea of that the story in most of their games is.

There's an average of 50 titles released every month in Japan.

Of course, from my exprience,65%-70% of those are craps.

Well, 65-70 percent are at least far better than what is released at the english gaming market, since almost all games released at the english gaming market (for "normal" games, that's it) (90% or something like that) are crap in my opition...

Thanks for the advice, Kumiko . I'll be VERY careful .

In essence, a game with beautiful young girls is never crap... how could it be, by its very nature? Feminine beauty is not crap, no matter what - it's always wonderful, right?

Sure, I know that what I might think of as total crap may be the best game in the whole world for another person .

And I certainly see nothing wrong in Feminine beauty either - if I did, I wouldn't be buying bishoujo games at all. But I do it, since I appreciate Feminine beauty

I'm still trying to get that last ending for Brightia.

Well, that’s the fascinating thing with simulations - unlike most other games, it’s far harder to get all endings in a sim than it is, in for example a multi-path, multi-ending ADV

And then there's Gloria, with over 40 endings...

Well, haven't played Snow Drop nor Gloria, but I've played Tokimeki Check-In, and it seems like it's a bit more easy to figure out what or where you've done something wrong a multi-path-multi ending game than in a sim - or so it seems

But it depends, of course, on which ADV and/or SIM it is... and who's playing it, of course

Kumiko really has to say that the English market would love this game... whether or not we'll ever be able to do it is an open question, though...

Good for him, then .

Well, I think that dokusen might sell very well, if people realizes it's true worth, but... getting them to realize that may be difficult ^^;;. By the way... Have you throught of when you'll talk to Will about this? It's important to make people aware of Dokusen, yes, but it's also important to see whenever Will would be positive about the idea of letting Dokusen out at the english market with remaining mosaics...

Hmm? What does that last ending have to be? _???.

Well, I’m doing my best to catch some interest in Dokusen in other forums here and there at the net but it is, kind of hard to do now, since I’ve ,lots of other things to do too - things which doesn’t leave much time to post the link to the poll at other forums . But then agian., as I’ve said before, I need the help of others here at the forum to spread the word about Dokusen, too… I can’t do all THAT much alone, as you know .

The last ending Dave E doesn't have has to be where Kaoru saves Tsumugi-chan from Kyouichi's abusing her. He got the opposite ending, where Kaoru's abuse of Yukino eventually wound up with Kyouichi rescuing her... so, there has to be the other way around, because pretty much everything in the game is balanced between the characters.

Well, I do believe that I've put it somewhere in the "form" I'm posting at various sites that they're free to spread it further if that's what they want... but then, again, maybe not (I'd better check ^^; .

Hmm, so when you play as one of the characters, you can interfere in another characters path just like that!?

Has he gotten that ending yet? Has Tsumugi’s hidden admirer stepped out in the light and saved her from the great beast yet? .

Still nothing? .

Hmm, I'd like to ask something... you told us that if you choose to take one of the "darker" paths when you play as Kaoru, then Yukino-chan will not only still hate Kaoru, but will also desire to give the same kind of abuse he has given her to others... Is there a similar path like that in Kyouichis path??

Well, he’s got lots of work, I see .

Hmm, by the way, could you tell me if the guy in this picture: http://www.getchu.com/brandnew/5885/c5885table1.jpg is Kyouichi or Kaoru?

Hmm, one more thing, by the way: today when I chekec Wills’s site, thy had put a “Sold out” sign on Utsushiki hime… does that mean that they’ve stopped to produce it? And if that’s the case, do you think that I should hurry up and buy it from G-collections or Himeya, since it may not be possible for me to get it if I decides to wait?

(it's Kyouichi... )

Oh, ok... hey! jusat the fact that he's playing around with Tsumugi doesn't show that he's Kyouichi, since I'm quite sure of that Kaoru has some scenes with her too (besides,if that's Kyouichi, he looks a little more grim than Kaoru, if you ask me ^^;; ).

Hey, I hhave one thing I want to ask… but before that, look here!:

http://www.will-japan.co.jp/m_goods.htm

Correct me if i’m wrong, but this looks like Dokusen have been made in to an Anime!!!

heart beating twice as fast… OMG…!!!

Since this is part of JVD's Vanilla series, it's possible someone like Right Stuf might pick it up.

Good, good . Hmm, if Right Stuff releases it, then I wonder if they'd be interested in telling other people about the fact that Peach Princess could release the game behind the movie...

And if right Stuff releases it then I'll certainlt be one of the first who buys it
