RightStuf has finally e-mailed me to let me know that they’re finally shipping me my copy of Jewel Knights Crusaders.

Now, after having spent the money and waited an extra length of time for the game, I’m hoping that it’s halfway decent… I had no idea of what it was about when I made the purchase, since RightStuf didn’t have any blurb up about it, and I didn’t know who put it out (and didn’t have the right names for the publishers in order to get the web sites), so I bought it blind just to pick up a new bishoujo title.

I haven’t seen any reviews on the game, so I’m still pretty much in the dark as to how good or bad it is (although, IIRC it’s a G-Collections game, and I haven’t been too thrilled with a lot of their recent output).

From what I hear, it’s a parody of the seinen genre. You probably know the Power Rangers, and maybe the VR Troopers, that’s what the genre is like.
You can read a blurb of it on Peach Princess. There are some forced sex scenes, but no true rape. It’s kind of half dark and half light-hearted, I think.

Hmmm… It might be interesting just for entertainment value–some of the comments in the review made me laugh, which is apparently what the game creators were going for… so, we’ll see what happens. I’m not a fan of huge breasts, though (it seems like every bishoujo game I get, the breasts are getting bigger ), so I don’t think I’ll be thrilled with the CG’s…

Actually, I didn’t see your quickie review, otherwise I’m sure I would have read it. It depends on when you posted it–remember, for all my recent insane babbling on this board, I’m really new, and I didn’t go back and read tons of old posts and threads… I might have been at the computer for hours doing that

Heh… thanks… although I’ve already played through it once and formed my own opinions. Suffice to say, I’ll play through to find the other endings–the game definitely needs to be taken with a grain of salt

Heh… now I’m frantically waiting for my copy of Crescendo to show up. RightStuf has sent me an e-mail saying that it’s shipping, but it seems to be taking a little longer than usual to arrive [fret, fret]. I’ve had enough people recommend the game that I want to give it a whirl…

Can't be any longer than my one month and a bit of waiting for the game Mega Man X 4 (Sega Saturn version) that I won on eBay. Heh… If you don’t ask… Well, since RightStuf doesn’t have to ship out of country for me, I usually request priority mail, so it is usually about two days after they let me know that they’re shipping that my product arrives–at least that’s what it seems like it’s been. So, they let me know they were shipping on Friday, and I wait… (Well, it’s somewhat okay… having found that I can finally go back and replay my JAST Memorial Collection, I’ve got something to do in the meantime )

Haha actually you’ll save yourself a bit of money if you just select media mail from Rightstuff. They are located right next to a hub so their media mail usually is 1 day or so longer than priority. That is if you can wait for 1 more day Usually stuff shipped media mail from them arrives in 4-5 days for me.

I’ll have to look into it, although the shipping fee isn’t usually that big of a deal for me at $5.00. I’m just worried that there’s been a problem in the postal delivery, since it’s been four days now. I don’t have them ship UPS, since UPS usually arrives when I’m not around to accept the package, but unfortunately, there’s no way to track a package that’s been sent USPS.
