Second: Isn't it amazing how suddenly good news pop up after the customers are rioting? How reliable may informations be from a company that made a BIG mistake and now wants to calm down everybody? Managers who realized, they cornered themselves and now can only try to reduce the upcoming damage?

Personally my firm is an individual one. The main problem is the internet connection contract i made with my provider. My line now is going slow because for posting here in BBS to deceive them i've got to enter into Finance website. What if i'm going to play a game and the line goes more down? Or even worse what if they track me? They can sue me for fraud, that's sure.

Though in a way it does fit in with the thread since it is about one of their games and their games have the system tied to it, at least for the foreseeable future.

They have cornered themselves and for now tied all their games automatically to the V-Mate system meaning whenever a game is mentioned the system will be by someone else.

Sagara Family looks interesting but I'd echo what others have said: The scenario is too BTDT, and I'm a little amazed (in a negative way,) by the characters - it's really a single character with the standard rainbow of hair colors. I mean the face of each girl is identical! There's never a whole lot of effort to individualize characters in ecchi games in general, but this is the laziest characterization I've ever seen - they're almost as bad as the Smurfs.

What I wouldn't give for another storyline like "Chain" or scenario that's at least a little different with clearly-distinguished characters, like "Tokimeki Check In!"

But i understand what you mean. Unfortunately, the Zyx's artists still needs to improve their style, that is, to put some more "variety". But i kinda like the graphics and colors, so all-in-all, i think it's all right.

Not really. I checked and the latter (with Santa Claus clothes) it seems to be a special Christmas Pack with two games-in-one DVD: SAGARA FAMILY and KADOWAKASHI.

Sorry to get back late guys, but yeah, BTDT is ‘Been There Done That’ - and Peter, thanks a mil for the links!

The downloadable demo movie WMV at the first link is a great overview, though it’s a huge file. Looks like the game will have great artwork and the song is cool too. I think besides its history that’s what I love most about Japan: that sense of enthusiasm, high energy, and just plain fun that you hear and see in their pop culture.

Looks like a good release, though again, familiar territory in terms of storytelling. It is encouraging to see the pace of translated game releases picking up (or is that just my imagination.) So far I’ve got three games installed on my PC I have yet to finish (Chain, Kango Shicyauzo and Horny Bunnies 1,) a few I want next that are already available, and a couple more that will be released soon.
Incredible, when just a year or so ago some were predicting a dire future for the Ecchi game translation business.

I’ve just taken a look at all their games. It’s all rape, bondage, S&M, and one loli game that could have been interesting if they weren’t so young.

You’re talking about the other Zyx games? Yeah, except for MUSUEMON (phedofilia/child porn like in JKC) and CHIERI (strongly shotakon), all the other games from zyx are dark-themed “kishiku” games with S&M-Sim elements.
Sigh… i don’t think i will be playing any other Zyx game besides SAGARA FAMILY for a while.
