You forgot Yumina the Ethereal. That's 8 titles in the past 3 years. Exceeding that or even coming close to it in the next 6 months is ambitious, to be sure. I analyzed the projection here if you're curious: https://vndb.org/t6228#1. Obviously delays happen to individual titles, but if they think ~8 titles will be ready to go all around the same time, then it's a pretty safe bet that they'll get at least half of them out on time. Especially since Kana Okaeri is already out, Seinarukana is rumored to be basically finished, and Hanachirasu currently has a March release date.
Sumaga is supposed to be nearing completion (ready for release as soon as Summer 2015), but it's also not on the upcoming projects page. I assume the upcoming projects page is not complete.
Formatting bug seems to be back. In the Rules post, for instance, the test gets cut off. It seems to have something to do with inlining an image.
Also, in forums where the “related topics” navigator appears on the right, we’re back to tons of wasted space on useless elements / nothing at all, and squishing the posts into like a third of the available screen real estate.
Can you post your screen? I sounds like you get a different rendering of the page than I. Here's how the same "RULES" post is rendered in Chrome (ver.40) at three different resolutions:
Yes, Shingo re-joined briefly in early 2014 to support some projects, but resigned to move onto different things.
Schatten hasn't been canceled. We'll update that page once we've confirmed some details with the developer.
Move LWR into my 6 month quote, then yes. Sorry, in my mind it's not finished since we're working on the Steam release. Just like with everything we do, there is a chance some of our projects will get pushed back, so the 6 months could become 9 months. In any case, please look forward to a lot of titles this year!
Okay, that takes the total down to 7 games, and 1 already released. That still means releasing another 7 games in the next 6 months in order to beat the previous total
Also, I can’t believe I forgot to mention this before - but there’s another reason why traffic to this board is so low. It’s not linked directly from www.jastusa.com. To get here requires either going to the old board (which isn’t directly linked either, but I remember the URL) and digging several links down to get to one of Peter’s ‘go here now kthxbye’ posts, or (in my case) digging through the support section to go into a ticket I filed with a link.
(I’ll post those screenshots you wanted tomorrow, it’s late here now.)
@Nandemonai Correct, it is not linked directly from the website yet. We wanted to get our current forum members's feedback before going public, so consider this the beta test phase. Thanks for your support, btw.
@Nandemonai: "Also, I can't believe I forgot to mention this before - but there's another reason why traffic to this board is so low. It's not linked directly from www.jastusa.com." Yeah, I thought about that, too! The current state of affairs with the forums (new and old) reminds me of that quote from the first Pirates of the Caribbean movie: "buried in the island of the dead that which cannot be found except by those who already knows where it is." LOL. Well, it's probably good for them to get things ironed out better before going public-er with it.
@Nicholas: I think what Nandemonai is talking about is the tendency of big pictures to "break the frame" and go off to the margins on the right, taking associated text with it. I'm attaching a screenshot ("breaking into margins"). It looks that way in both Internet Explorer and Firefox. I don't use Chrome -- it may well be showing up just fine in that browser. The other place I've seen this happen is on the "School Days" pinup picture you have on the "Ne, Ne, Oniichan" topic.
Also, I thought of another small feature I'd like to request, though it's more a matter of laziness on my part than basic functionality. Do you think we could have an option to proceed to the next page on a topic on *top* of the page as well as the bottom, like in the old BBS (see pic: "top-of-page navigation")? That feature allowed users to navigate through a long topic quickly without having to scroll to the bottom of the page each time. Again, not major, but if it's possible to re-implement it without the boundaries of this new software, that would be handy.
@Peter: Aww. Well, send Shingo our best wishes when next you hear from him. Tell him to raise his childrens up right; buy them "Aselia" as soon as they're old enough to read!
Internet Explorer 10, I think, since I’m on Windows 7. Though I’ll say I’m not positive about that… just going by what Microsoft says my version of Windows would be using. For Firefox, it’s version 35.0.1.
Nah, sorry, man. No dice. I went ahead and cleared my temporary files to make completely sure, but it still shows up like before. How about the rest of you characters on the forum? To quote the Christmas tune, “Do you see what I seeeeee / In this BBS, little lambs?”
I get two different results, depending on browser. In Chrome, page 3 of this topic displays correctly. In IE11, page 3 displays incorrectly (as shown in jacksprat's Breaking_into_margins.PNG).
What the heck? Where’s the “quote existing post” functionality?
Anyway, @Peter - But you haven’t even got some of the most active posters, like Nargrakhan, to show up here yet.
And @Nicholas - I see exactly the same totally broken layout Jacksprat sees in his attachment. I’m using Firefox with Adblock Plus and Noscript (because browsing the internet without those on is asking to get 0wned), but I’ve whitelisted jastusa.com and that weird random-gibberish domain at cloudfront that changes all the time.
Hey, Nicholas! Just wanted to tell you that whatever you did seemed to have worked, at least from my side. All of the text and pictures are back inside the margins where they belong when I checked just now.
