Large update about future releases from MangaGamer

I’d say it’s too optimistic to think that they’ll be able to release games according to that schedule - it would be one or even more than one game each month. Moreover, given the fact that Mangagamer doesn’t exactly have a reputation for excellent translations, I wouldn’t exactly advice them to increase quantity at the expense of quality. I’m really interested in Higurashi and Kohime Musou, but only if the translation is flawless or nearly flawless.

More adult games from Nexton means probably more Liquid, which will probably resolve in other so-lame-that-is-even-funny game titles like “Suck my dick or die”.

I cant wait for Koihime Musou, I love the anime

omg what huge release

“D.C.I.F. -Da Capo Innocent Finale-”
Just curious, but what’s this game supposed to be about? Is it one of the fandiscs for Da Capo?

I wouldn’t mind the rest of the Ryoujoku Guerilla series. Still, NEXTON isn’t just Liquid, we may get games from they’re SCORE branch like these:

or any of their 3 Tactics branches:

And Liquid isn’t the only NEXTON source for dark ero just check out their main site and the links they have for Liquid down to Lusterise.

According to Erogamescape, the game hasn’t even come out yet (though it’s been announced). And MG thinks they’ll have it translated by June? Interesting.

Games I’m currently interested in: Soul Link, Higurashi, Koihime Musou (!!!)
Games I’m interested in if they lower the price: Da Capo, Da Capo II

i know i will get koihime, soul link, kira kira curtain call, and da capo 2
what is da capo if

All I know, without looking it up, is that it’s a PS2 game that is getting a PC port this December.

if is the game version of the ova

Hm… nothing really interests me except Higurashi, but I already have the physical version of that. If I wanted to play it in English, I’d just get the twins’ patch instead of double-dipping.

D.C. I.F. is an alternative story where what’s his name ends up with Kotori instead of Nemu. That means it has to be better than the original.

Higurashi is the sort of thing you’d want to play in Japanese anyway, no matter how good the translation.

well, I’ll make a point of getting every eroge that doesn’t involve meat bags treatments (except for Higurashi, can’t stand that graphics). And news of DCif and DCII has made my day  (although I was hoping for kujira or Valkyrie Complex)

any way, how about JAST, any new additions to their upcoming lineup? Or did the ban threat really alienate many studios?

JAST already has enough titles announced to keep them busy for a while.

jast has only 3 that even look like they might hold my interest that includes the nitro+ stuff that is the coming up stuff
manga gamer has lots of stuff i would like to play coming up

the list is getting smaller  , that is why I am wandering, been a while since a new announcement came out. (and that is while taking N+ into consideration :expressionless: )

on second thought… I’d rather no spend too much right now… so the queue is looking fine as it

Looks like I’ll be having merry christmas. And merry next year too, even if those get delayed by month or something.
Wondering about Da Capo Innocent Finale, though. Wasn’t that originally PS2 title?

Higurashi’s violence isn’t very gra- Ooh, you mean the character sprites. I thought the same when I first started reading the first arc, and soon got used to it. Ryukishi’s art has its charm.

It’s sad to say, but MangaGamer is soon(if not already) beating JAST in both quality and quantity of releases. Out of latter’s current line-up I can’t bring myself to get excited over anything but Nitro+ stuff.

The Nitro+ stuff is enough for me. In response to your other point, note that Mangagamer has announced they’re still in the red. Releasing good games is important. But so is being profitable. All considered, “slow and steady wins the race” might be applicable to this situation…

Not that I wish Mangagamer bad or anything. But I think it’s too soon to say (or even suggest) that JAST will soon be eclipsed by MG.

Well, it’s been some time since… I think it was before releasing Kira Kira and Shuffle. I hope they’re doing better now…

i hope manga gamer lasts long enough to at least get all those games out

I can’t really imagine a company just announcing their fiscal performance to the public so openly like that–Where exactly did they say this again?
