Excellent, Todoroke! is hilarious. I think it was my first or second Seal game and the one that got me interested in the brand.
What the hell happened to Mangagamer’s forum? All the posts and user accounts are gone, and I can’t login anymore.
Welp, MG broke their forum. Literally. They can only recover posts from 2012.

Actually, no. They scrubbed those a long time ago. “Kumiko Kamiyama”'s posts only exist to the extent that things “she” said were quoted by others once upon a time. (They simply deleted all posts by “her”; they never went through every post and checked the quotations, so some of the text survived.)

Short version is that someone apparently named ‘Dave E’ was Peach Princess’ BBS moderator at first. But he adopted the online persona ‘Kumiko Kamiyama’ while posting here. I don’t think the forum moderator was also doing actual work for Peach Princess / JLIST / etc at the time, which is why ‘Kumiko’ posted so much. Naturally, with so much posting going on, the board had a far livelier community than it does now.
Eventually there was some sort of acrimonious split between Peter and Dave. When G-Collections was still a seperate company with its own seperate BBS, Dave started hanging out there posting heavily for a few months. He would have disappeared when GC got bought out by Jast anyway, but he’d already bailed by then.
Whoever he was, he might still be a fan, but he never came back round here again.
This game announced recently could not be more up my alley if it was designed for me personally.

Based on what I heard in the chatroom, a) the original Japanese game’s twitter function doesn’t work anymore because Twitter changed their API; and b) MangaGamer isn’t gonna fix it.
