And yeah, it would be an interesting item to put up for sale, more as a special “collector’s” item than anything. Or even a raffle item at a convention. You know, like getting one entry per item purchased at the booth. Might generate a few more sales, you never know.

the 200 amount is just an arbitrary number I made up, don’t take it seriously.
I think it would cost around 60-100 bucks, but it depends on how much the printing cost is, which will take up most of that cost.
Here’s the breakdown on the cost for making this stand:
printing: free, since I got it done at school (as supposed to paying mucho bucks at say kinkos to make a poster size printout)
foamboard: at this size, 10 bucks
labor: free, since I did it myself.
so pretty much this thing cost only 10 bucks to make, but I made only one of those and if we were to make any more, we don’t get free printing or free labor cost this time.
And another thing to think about is shipping. How the hell can one ship something like this to like worldwide? Luckily, this board is specially custom designed by me so that pieces can be disassembled and all pieces fit into a suitcase so the peapri staff can take it back to san diego with no problems.
So nah, it’s not gonna cost 200 bucks, but it’s still NFS

as I said, printing will not cost hellafa lot now…imagine printing stuff from kinkos with RIP fees and stuff like that
They do look very nice. Shipping would be a nightmare. For me space is my problem. I live in a shoebox, no space much.

I checked yesterday the train connections and prices. This is the result:
A possible connection would arrive at saturday 15:40, and in order to get monday in time to work, I would have to leave on sunday at 12:15. So, I would stay less than 24 hours, but travel for about 36 hours.
By the way; the tickets would cost me 349 Euro. A bit much for a small favor...
Maybe, we instead plan on visiting BAAF/AXNY next year together?

Ah, what a pity [img]http://princess.cybrmall.net/ubb/frown.gif[/img]. but I do understand; it isn't cheap to travel all the way here, nor is it a short journey by any means. Hmm, but perhaps you could visit during a long break/vacation or soemthing like that?
